There was the Boss Monster earlier on in the dungeon, if I recall it was S Rank or something and was the dungeons Boss. So it could be a substitute for the Dragon Core if Rei killed it.
Shouldnt there be a few in that ring he got? I dont see why they wouldnt leave a few S ranked dragon magic stones in that ring lol.
Spoiler: sspoiler what will happen to kuust and vel kuust is being controlled by vel. Kuust died but vel runaway while badly hurt. Now the enemy know about rei magic ability etc from vel memory It kinda stupid that rei waited until the group have done the ceremony. I mean all that matters in the ceremony is Elena the ceremony receiver. He can actually force the rest with fire seed oath.
Vel betrayal has been foreshadowed for a while now and was fairly obvious since the mantis attack but i'm really surprised about Kuust. He's a piece of shit but he has a type of noble honor so i didn't expect such a shameful act from him
C101 in a nutshell: Spoiler R: Too bad for you, I'm at an advantage here. V: You sure? *buffs himself up* R: I'm still at an advantage here. V: You sure? *more buffs* R: You gotta try harder. V: Okay... *even more buffs* R: Dude, I'm still better than you. V: If you say so... *even more buffs* (30 minutes later) R: You know what? Here, take my scythe, I don't need it. Also, Set, go over there and help him. This is now a 3 vs 1. WTF are you waiting for?
Truly the biggest question we have, I mean he could have at least prepared some magic in case he tried shot, but nope! I'm just gonna wait here like a ding dong listening to his pointless bullshit while he does even more shitty stuff! Le sigh
I guess it's a problem with the writing, he practices alone, and it's obvious he moves faster than humans can even perceive, but he can't get to the guy with the knife in time to stop the destruction of the stone. Then he gets within scythe range of the guy and his mind-controlled puppet, waits til he pulls out a few suspicious looking magic tools before doing anything, and even then it was only to ask 'what's with the shady looking objects?' instead of knocking Kuust out of the way while he was still only mind-controlled. Really easy, just swing the handle with enough force that you just hear the loud crash, and Kuust is broken but alive in the corner of the room, Vel is now defenseless, but noooo....
Don't worry. He is only a naive Japanese protagonist and has the innate quality of listening to all the bullshit that his enemies say as well as wait for their transformation sequences to finish.
Yeah, but the orc subjugation already established that he can kill people without remorse, if they are a threat, or they get annoying. Very unJapanese protagonist, now he's like any other isekai or tensei protagonist.
It was definitely interesting, I would have done more with the info though, like ask some more useful questions. Is there anything in your bottomless storage, that would be useful to me, or does the magic circle Set was born from, act like an Altar of Inheritance?
i'm surprised with the early romance development but i approve since their interactions has been leading to this. Elena has been showing some interest in Rei since the beginning so her feelings developing wasn't far out.
should have killed the piece of shit and married the general princess. his life would get infinitely better and he would have a lot more opportunity to gather monster cores. I can't follow dense-kuns logic anymore
