okay without further ado.... let's jump in...

    1. always stay anonymous.....
    2. eventough is off (for laptop user) block the web cam. like use ducktape etc.
    3. Maximizing Browser Windows, can allow website to determine your monitor size, wich can be used to track you..
    4. Use linux distro that you can trust like *buntu family or arch, or slack to browsing with tor... never use windows.

I'll update if i found more

    also use a vpn.

Use a randomizer to generate user names and passwords [on each site],
keep passwords and Id's on hardcopy by your computer rather than electronically (seriously if someone is in your house to get your passwords you've got way more problems.
Never use the same name twice.

Bit of a misconception, Tor is a browser that takes everything you do using it and shuffles it through a bunch of ip's so that your home ip is washed out and erased (technically) Which makes it quite a bit harder to track. It's similar to a VPN which does the same for "all" your internet use, not just the browser.

It's commonly used to access the Deep web because of it's near guaranteed anonymity

Best advice is to just tell people that, no matter what they do, true anonymity on the internet is a fairy tale.

Second best advice is to tell them that, in reality, no one gives enough of a fuck about you to actually put any real effort into finding out anything about you... unless you motivate them to. This is true off of the internet, as well. The best way to stay as anonymous as possible, on the internet or off of it, is to simply not stand out in any way.

It's probably just something they find interesting. A lot of people get hung up on Tor, anonymity, cyber terrorism, hacktivism, the deep web... They're interesting topics. They also tend to inflame the imagination.

This is a good place for it. If nothing else, it's good writing material. Good inspiration.

If you want to be anonymous—say, if you live under a dictatorship, you're a journalist in an oppressive country, or a hacker looking to stay hidden from the government—Tor is one of the easiest ways to anonymize your traffic, from:lifehacker.com

are you one of those above?
i don't see the hassle it brings, if you have nothing to hide?, maybe pure curiousity?,trying to be Han from Galactic Dark net?
could also for watching child p*rn , maybe have some secret conversation for organized crime? you a terrorist?
or you're trying to be cool?

    all and all
i don't see a point in this thread, other than compromising NUF to CIA and FBI
because someone certainly, sharing his experience on hiding something and they will look for what is it
and letting it out on our clean forum

well, congrats you've become a rat,and nuf has been compromised..
    and you're on their blacklist
    goodluck.for the sleepless night sir...

Okay, all here's a quick tip or thing about internet privacy.
-There is no such thing as being 100% anonymous when you browse the net. In fact, your ISP (internet service provider) knows the sites you visit and some keeps a history of what you've visit.

-Our common internet hardwares like computer, router or phones are easy to hack by high level hackers (eg. Military hackers). Unless you have high powered military grade equipment, you will be always invisible in the net.

-For softwares like tor browser, they just make your information hard to hack or hard to crack. There is no such applications that completely hides your net foot prints. And there's no need for common people to use such high end application in the first place though unless you are a HVT(high value target).

-If you want to hide your identity COMPLETELY then I advise you :
    -make your own connection,
    -buy high end equipment
-dont post or input classified or scandalous things in the net

And lastly, if some are paranoid, then just dont use internet for life.

Yeah tor told me to do that. But the advice is too suspicious so I ignore it

    Share my experience.

I was try to join CIA last year via web. But when they ask me to move to murica I choose refuse it. Well CIA = easy money. It always come down to money.

If true they watch me I hope they recruit me with decent salary lol. And no obligation to stay in US.

Oh you could start browse from hidden wiki. And don't use tor built in search. Use duck duck go instead.

And be careful. Lot of predator out there. That would eat you alive.

Could I use tor to stalk @Tony

Okay.... what an over reaction? I was just wondering why is there a need to publicly tell people these things they should already know the Internet is not safe?
