    But that's not the right way to go. Send of the hard way you should shut them down. Chinese providers doesn't help you I think then we should use a more direct approach if they have no website that can host novels.

    What kind of result do you expect when you go to court?

    Another possibility could be just to give them free publicity, they know what they are doing is illegal but doing it will give them free publicity and save marketing costs too. I mean think about it!

    Even people who don't know what QI is will know it now after a series of controversies, maybe this will save them more money than what they will have to pay if they get sued.

    Think about it? Why should they 'wash their dirty laundry' in NU?

    Will it do you any good? The way I see it, this is basically community infighting (even if he was hired by them, he's not exactly a Qidian insider, is he?) while Qidian continues to do their own thing regardless of what's said here and by who. Progress made: Zero.

    Though I agree you have to stick up for yourself and love the aggressiveness, man.

    Need a bit of reading comprehension there man. He called what @Qidian said "convoluted logic" and said things that are clearly illogical exaggerations like "hey'd prefer it if you let them drive the car around most of the time because the car automatically belongs to them."

    Someone please give me a recap on what's happening?

    As far as i understand,

    QI
    - Wants buy-back on novels that generates too much traffic on WW
    - Wants to take down WW for pirating novels
    - Have talked with WW
    - Talked to translators to work for their site

    WW
    - Says QI is lying about not replying to them
    - Buy-back issues
    - QI "poaches" translators from WW


    Please don't roast me if i don't understand everything and correct me from my mistakes. I just want to see a better picture on what's literally happening to the community right now. And also I've read something about the "car blueprint" which was owned by QI and have it rented to some "makers", I don't quite get it, BUT does the owner has right on their blueprints regardless whether they freely rented it on the other "makers"? Or does the "makers" can have an argument if the "owners" wants their blueprints back? Will the DMCA will work here? Cause in the first place the "owners" just lend the "blueprints" to the "makers"? OR Do the "makers" have complete control to the "blueprints" if they already BOUGHT the blueprints from their previous owners? Which does make sense? Cause if the "makers" already have BOUGHT those blueprints, then the "owners" should just keep out of it already.
