Well we all know that Qidian can't be good for our community, nothing new to see here, even if it is fake, they will still try something else in the future. When they can just steal chapters from WW like that, there's much out there that they might try to do. Going with ad wall to ease us in before they put a pay wall. Was much better before qidian decided go with their international website to use any underhanded means to take novels and chapters. They could just translate from scrach and just notify all the translators to stop translating but they obviously just want to swallow it all up and take all the translated chapters, too greedy.

Its really blatantly obvious what they are trying to do.

I heard about this a few times before, but didn't believed it until I actually saw War sovereign of the heavens being posted on Gravity today.... (Which was a novel started in QI)

 

Really, I thought he was just a really good friend, might have to reread it. But yeah I know his history but that saying was from the play (unless Shakespear got it from the history books which seems unlikely as all the christian peasants went on a burning spree and destroyed most of roman knowledge and history and didn't get it back until the crusades/holy wars).

 

I fear that if this thread were locked without official reply a lot would take that as guilty conscience and block Gravity + bad PR for GGP... don't think that'd be that good of an idea if you care about the community of NU.

 

I feel like GGP wouldn't sell 90% of the company. But then again, I doubt Qidian would invest in GT without being the major shareholder.

No disrespect but you seem to have amnesia few weeks ago some TL "moved" from WW to Qi and with them their novels. But lets just forget it since it was definitely not a loss for WW right?! Also I seem to recall Qi copying those novel onto their website like last week. Then again this is just foreplay right because we all know that if it goes to court Qi can drag the case for years while WW does not have the funds to compete like that. Not saying WW cant win but if you think right now we are just asserting claim better wake up assertion phase has been over for a time now.

 

It depends. While the result is binding and generally hard to appeal, it's only going to cover the contract itself. Because QI is taking actions outside of it, it could still go to court if they don't desist.
