Thunder rumbling... Sudden lightning strike both of them.. Heaven dao everywhere.. Circling them like tornado.. Intense like shit... Two figure emerge... Without a shred of thread... Both of them breakthrough to Kage level All thank to the power of love nakama
Ah, that makes so much more sense now. I always wondered why the novel here on novel updates had a Japanese name for the longest time even though it was so obvious it was Chinese in origin.
did you watch his video, your second vid and op's vid are kinda similar. and yes i'm aware they are different stories but the animation seems very similar in a bad way. the first video is really nice is it an animation? if so where can i watch it? i've not watched that anime so can you tell what's bad about it? the story, animation or is the typical japanese characters? ps: the fighting didn' t seem that bad
Try to get some of those God-like Productions like Madhouse and they can easily surpassed this type of xianxia animation, with better quality too. It's just depend on which studio is the one doing it. Deen isn't really a great studio for Fighting animation. Try to get Madhouse or Ufotable. It isn't Japanese don't know how to make xianxia fighting animation, it's just Depend on Which studio is the one doing it.
Chinese Novels (and most Web Novels to an extent) don't translate well into animation. There is simply too little going on in each individual chapter, over too long of an amount of chapters. Trying to make 24-minute long and 12 episode long seasons out of a CN is VERY challenging. How well do you think someone can compress 1500+ worth of chapters in 12-24 episodes without making it seem either very rushed or very boring? edit; The reason Light Novels do so well is because they are published as volumes. Volumes are much easier to animate since they lay out an approximation of a 'script'. Arcs are also better defined in Light Novels. Each arc could very well be it's own end to the story, whereas most Chinese Novels are more of a clusterfuck when it comes to structuring a linear plot. Things just 'happen' along the story, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it just makes it HELL for the director who has to compress an arc into a 12 episode season with an ending that doesn't look forced since chinese novels don't really 'end' until the very last chapter. There are no breathers in-between arcs. They kind of just flow along.
