ok, I'm lurking for so long because my English is shitty at best.... BUT that cover makes me do this. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SPOILERS!!! I love apocalypse!novel waaaahhh -///- (AND THE COVER OMG)
So I just sorta skimmed read the first few chapters. No enough to give in-depth spoilers, but here's the gist of things thus far (chapters 1-25). MC dies being swarmed - and presumably eaten - by blood red magic ants. He could have saved himself and survived that event, but some people kicked him away, sacrificed him to save themselves. He wakes up in the past, where he was still the young master of a rich household and before the apocalypse began. He spends a couple of chapters going around stocking up and dealing with a persistent lawyer wanting him to sell some shares. At the same time, he discovered his inheritance and his spiritual space with the peach tree, etc. A decision he made caused him to have an arrest warrant pinned on him (not too sure about this part. Gotta go back and read it properly XP ). Anyway, the ML is a senior military officer within the city and circumstances made it so he nearly caught the MC, but MC escaped and went to a mountain village for 6 months to cultivate/build his strength as well as to allow things in the city to cool down. However, ML takes it upon himself to catch MC. It's only until chapter 21-22 (?) that MC leaves the mountain village after stocking up some more. Chapter 24-25 is where we get more details regarding the apocalypse. Not surprising it starts off with zombies, but volcanoes, randomly appearing swamps, magic ants and other insects/beasts are mentioned in passing. Apologies about the wishy-washy summary. But anyway, the first ~20 chapters are 'building up plots, etc'. Might add more when (if) I get back to reading it ^-^"" (I'm still in the middle of a couple other novels).
Oooh, BL, apocalypse, I'm sold~. Gonna put this in my list <3. Just need to know it's a HE, my heart can't take tragedy .
I've only read up to Ch.25, but I can confidently say it wasn't love at first sight. It's more the kind of "Ooh, an interesting character appeared. Let's keep an eye on him. --> (Assuming) Interest grows the longer he keeps tag of MC until he decides to claim MC". I have a feeling the ML's the black-belly type.
@ShenHua What’s up with the “fated person” and why is ML so determined to find MC? And I thought the mom made the arrest warrant?
