Well, I expected him to have a child already as he has already done it. I guess he could have waited until they were pregnant but realistically... in that world, their age is the most suitable for cultivation. So, Ling Ming cannot take long breaks as this is the time where he can develop the most. The same for his wives. I do want him to impregnate his wives, I am a guy who loves children and when I see some love interest involved, I sometimes even read for the same of seeing the "fruit" of their love come alive but I guess the author is not like me.
Well, I think that requires a bit more consideration. (a) Does she live for childbearing and nothing more? Did she fall in love with him because he has a powerful bloodline and she wants that? (b) Unless she's in a good environment, then being a pregnant woman alone (and then, a single mom) is pretty damn harsh. Children aren't very useful for the first dozen years. (c) Who's to say that it'll be male? (d) If she's a cultivator, would she want to risk delaying her cultivation for a child? Even her beloved man's child? Of course, I have no idea who Lin Ming is or what series he's from. So this might be irrelevant to the particular series you're talking about; female character shallowness varies.
a and b) she's pretty strong on her own and would want his Baby even if his bloodline was weak c) let's hope ist a son d) If pregnancy is similar to earth it's a delay of Maximum 10 years which is nothing considering they already lived for hundreds of years and will continue to do so
I still think that Linley is the worse ever... I stopped reading mw cause I wouldnt accept the mc and that girl becoming only "best friends". It would be ok for him not take he general's granddaugher, the phoenix girl or the others two girls later on, but I assumed that she would be his wife since the first chapter.
