So,,,why the hell are there no elves in Arifureta? I understand that it’s not necessary for a fantasy world to have elves, but Arifureta seems to have every element but elves!
It doesn't really need elves though. But if it bothers you that much, just imagine they live on a different continent and haven't been encountered yet.
It was interesring for the first arc or two, but after he got out of the dungeon it became generic harem bullshit like every other isekai.
There are elves just not in the main cast one of the elders of the demi-human nation in the sea of trees is an elf and his daughter becomes a perv obsessed with shia
find a crazily big as hell tree. . . . if they traveled the whole planet and still can't find one. . . then Elves are in the slave houses for sure. .
Wow, I had read the shit for so long and never noticed the lack of elves. Must hav been the skipping of chapters after story going south once they left the 1st dungeon.
Elves are so generic that they were forgotten to be included cause author himself assumed he added them when he didn't
...Well, there’s at least a distinct lack of elves. Though I don’t completely remember what you’re talking about, I do vaguely recall it. Probably why he added them into the scene that @Leachinator mentioned.
I just got finished forcing my self to read that series two days ago which is pretty much the only reason I remembered that nugget of trivia Edit: Though in the authors defence the elf grampa shows up in the second volume I believe
There’s still a distinct lack of elves! Especially since elves usually become a harem member and other stuff. Though I’m sorry to hear that you had to force yourself. Granted the story is most certainly not without its own flaws, I generally like to view it as a story about character development (primarily Hajime’s) with fighting god as a side project.
Elves are there. They're called the Forest people I think. they're just not that important to the plot since they weren't being enslaved like other demi-humans and Hajime didn't pickup a harem character from them. Kinda like how the Tigermen are only mentioned once or twice in the story.
And yet the tiger men somehow feel more prominent in the story. To the point that I wasn’t the only one who thought so.
Lol. I guess I haven't read far enough yet. I stopped a little after they met the mermaid girl's mother. I'll just keep my mouth shut then.
