Iam not big fan of CN so i ignore QI treat. but i have Huge resent for Sounen Jump(forgot name of the company). they discontinue few of my favorite manga, but keep still continue release few series that i think rather unfair (ex. HxH). i stop reading and watch all their 'Product'. well because iam just pure lecher it wont effect them. And just wondering what QI or other Group and Companies done that make you stop using (reading, buy, etc.) their 'product' even if that 'product' is fine Nb. sorry for my bad grammar. try MTL 300k+ word in 7 days and you'll come closer to this side
its not unfair. For example, harem gets all the attention. that goes for manga, anime, and even the novels getting translated here. It's fuckin retarded, but not unfair. If the majority of people like garbage then people are going to keep creating more garbage
yea, jump axes series unpopular in japan, so even if they have a ''large'' fanbase outside of japan, most of the people reading it will still read it for free, not even giving the translators any money, so don't even think about jump getting money out of it ouside of japan, so axing them is not exactly weird. And jump atleast mostly let the mangaka ''finish'' their axed mangas, so its not too bad
Shounen Jump ? Shueisha ? Well their sysytem is the unpopular one will be axed, that's why the new one if not popular then bye-bye, especially SJ, author Death Note & Beelzeebub new manga got axed really fast Lol
@aridharma well it is troublsome to call it unfair because they have votes where people can pick their favourites. Take Bleach as an example, it had many fans and lost them which caused it to be discontinued. Producing anime and manga is very expensive so they are very careful with what they publish.
There's an easy way to save an axed manga. Fund it yourself. I think a couple hundred grand could convince the mangaka to pick up and continue an axed story.
i read it on some illegal manga site, i dont know if it just draft or what. and the author take few long hiatus but can keep continues his series. what i mean unfair is they keep series that cant keep up with their schedule(weekly). i know he sick but... haaah....
yes that discontinued series i talking about. + Shaman King(well the author chose to continued on another company)
i'm not really sure what you're trying to say, but if the mangaka is popular, ofc they will cut him some slack with deadlines, but thats just life, even if someone is willing/able to write multiple chapters a day (probaly impossible since mangas takes a long time to make) if they're not popular, whats the point?
some author basic fan must be flaming. This system also force author to make their series unnecessarily long.
well yeah, do you think the ceo of a company gets fired because hes late? popular mangas are how magazines like jump gets their income, and its not exactly easy to get something new to be popular, so they cant exactly axe the popular mangas just because they're tardy. if a mangaka wants ''better treatment'' than others, they better make some popular mangas
Nah, i just pure lecher, take a peek then leave without trace. my moto "Even that novel are the worst, Dont ever hurt the Translator"
