I'm pretty sure that the MC didn't mention the three though? He mentioned Black Dragon, who had disappeared roughly 30,000 years ago, but that's all I recall O.O
I believe the whole reason for bringing them up to be as some of the most powerful people in the region/world was to help fight the Pagoda to get his body back. But again I'd have to go back to see if my memory is failing me once again.
I don't think that it was the three mentioned in the synopsis though. Really, I don't think those three have been mentioned at all. I might also be thinking wrong, but I was looking forward to seeing them being mentioned or appearing o.o I'm pretty sure Black Dragon was the one who took the final step in getting his body back.
So not to be nit picky or anything, but I'm in chapter 6 of this series and it says: "The Grand Middle Territory was huge, spanning billions of miles. There were countless sects spanning across fifteen countries. However, there were gigantic monsters like Kingdoms and Ancient Kingdoms that spanned billion of miles by themselves." Really? Billions?! According to google, the diameter of our solar system is 7.4 billion miles. That means that The Grand Middle Territory which they reside on is literally the size of our solar system. There aren't any celestial bodies that we know about that are that large. I know it's probably hyperbole on the part of the author, but at the same time.. c'mon, dial back the scale a little bit. BILLIONS of miles? Even if you dialed that back to Li (which is probably what the original text says), that's still an absurdly large distance. I mean, the circumference of earth is only 25 thousand miles and he wants the distance across just this single kingdom to be in the billions? That said, story's good so far. I'm curious as to what happened to all his disciples.
On a completely unrelated note, thank you for unintentionally pointing out a typo! Haha. It has been fixed.
haha was it "gigantic monsters like Kingdoms", should have been monster I suppose. Also, just got caught up. Loving the series. I am curious as to how a crow could have done all he did, much less training disciples. I understand that during his long soul-journey as a crow he somehow slipped his leash and was able to go adventure around and take on disciples before having to return to the cave to slumber. But how the heck did he wield a beating stick as a crow? Was he able to transform into a human? Was he able to speak?
I feel like for many of these Chinese novels, the fantasy worlds they take place in tend to be abnormally gigantic. And, I mean, it's a fantasy world o3o who knows, maybe in a parallel dimension there are worlds that span trillions to zillions of miles or something >w<
More more more Just started today and I just finished chapter 20 And I still wanted to see this princess that they keep talking about Just wanna know her personality
I understand the need for epic scale, and when you throw in the existence of gods and other omnipotent beings the idea that they could just go ahead and create something that large makes a certain kind of sense. But the fact that there is nothing in the known universe that conforms to the scale which the author is describing kinda throws things off for me.
He did beat up his disciples but I'm with you, I'm not quite sure how he was able to take on disciples, much less beat them, as a crow. Did he gain the ability to turn back into a human at some point?
Well, like I said. It's fantasy. Fiction. The author creates their own worlds and universes~ I find that fascinating and awesome. They can make their own laws of physics, their own rules. They don't have to abide by the logic of reality~ Which is something I find great and enjoyable. So yeah.
Yeah I'm just nitpicking. Scale it down to millions, billions of miles is too many miles, I can deal with millions but billions is a staggeringly large distance.
I did too. Oh god. “Only Demon under the Heaven, Mere Chicken above the Earth” Just... just... kill me now. *Dies*
That old chicken really save that treasure cave for the MC. There no way anyone would ever got it right beside the MC.
