This was a good novel. (Easy to read in MTL, so I blasted through it in a couple of days) I don't usually like "pure romance" stories, so the thing that kept my interest the most through the beginning chapters was the architect stuff. Eventually I fell in love with the characters through the slow burn and got invested in their relationship, too. The ML was a little cold for my taste at first, but once you realize he has no idea what he's doing romantically, he becomes incredibly charming! (Seriously, poor MC, I would have been upset at being treated that way on my birthday, too! And then felt guilty over not liking the tape measure in the exact same way later on...) Lots of cute, jealous moments throughout the novel, on both ends. Spoiler: Best jealous moment near the end... ML's least romantic yet somehow cutest proposal ever comes because he was jealous of MC's old roommate. ML's little sister was super adorable as well. I teared up at how their families reacted to their relationship. MC's progress as an adult makes me want to try harder in my own life. Just overall incredibly satisfying if you're okay with sloooooow progress and a lot of focus on stuff aside from the romance in the beginning. Glad to see it might be picked up!
