Description: Since there are a lot of threads today about the author's other works, thought I would include this one.
I've just started mtling this one so haven't gotten very far.

Basically, MC is a musician from a poor background and no genius talent. His hard work and effort allowed him to perform on his biggest stage yet. But one hour before his performance, he got into a fight with his lover and was killed by him. Then MC wakes up on the body of a former genius musician who died because of drugs.

ML is king of the classical musician world and has an ambiguous relationship with the MC's original identity (haven't read up to it yet). They end up living next to each other and cute scenes occur. One funny scene that I remember is
how ML and MC discover that they are neighbours.

So, i read the prologue; MC about to perform (he's a violist?), but he caught his lover put sth in his drink, the lover insisted that it was only vitamin or sth that could make MC relax, but MC didn't believe him, bc if it's only sth like that, why the lover had to do it behind MC's back, MC also said if it's rly nothing, they should let doctor check what the lover put in his drink and it scared the lover. So, they got in fight, the lover actually jealous w/ MC luck, bc MC has no background, but he got lot of chance and block other way. The lover even accused MC that MC's climb other bed to get this chance, so the lover also climb other bed too, bc MC didn't help his career.

In his anger MC asked the lover whether he wants to know whose bed MC climb, and MC said he climbed Min Chen's bed (ML's name based on mtl). The lover angry and cursed how he's dare to cuckold him when he chased him after 3 years and treasure him. The lover also punched MC's chest, and bc MC's asthma, it flared and MC need his medicine, but the lover didn't help him, and from my understanding it seems the lover even took the medicine and left MC. MC then found dead, and someone told ML that MC dead, and maybe ML still can meet MC in hospital, that person mentioned that MC is ML's friend, also, ML shed tear a bit . . . i have no idea what kind of relationship they had . . . let me read more

 

Wow! Okay. Please tell me the lover will be jailed for murder. WTF

 

He was questioned for fighting with MC. But it was determined that the MC died of an asthma attack and there was no proof that he took the medicine, so he was released. Only the ML was suspicious.
But knowing the author, the MC will eventually get revenge.

 

nah rather than jailed, I think because MC rebirth then he will take revenge to the ex-lover by himself or with the help of ML.
after all rebirth novel must had a revenge.

Amen. I wish he suffer first. Why did he even expect MC to be faithful when he himself being unfaithful?? That being said, did MC actually slept with ML while being with the lover? Because if yes, then SERVE YOU RIGHT FUCKER!!

Yea, i guess MC will get revenge, bc when he's about to die, the lover said he'll wait MC w/ 92 years old Ausone if MC managed to back home or sth and after he's in Qi Mo's body, MC said it must be a good waiting for you (??), so maybe they'll meet later.

As for Qi Mo, he's a genius, and even has absolute pitch, his father is a chief conductor (?), anyway bc they're related to music, Qi Mo also learn violin (MC even noticed that he's in diff body bc of Qi Mo's fingers much more beautiful than his, bc learning violin). Everything looks perfect, the only problem it seems the original Qi Mo is arrogant bc he came from such background family. All turned when Qi Mo's parents died in an accident, although Qi Mo can still live perfectly alright from his parents legacy, but bc no one can control him to play violin or told him to go to a competition, so he no longer play violin. One of his parent friend wanted to help but it's not working. I'm not sure about this bc mtl but it seems someone also cheated money from Qi Mo, but he still not changed. And Qi Mo's life reduce to the point of begging, after that he left Europe, and MC never heard about Qi Mo anymore. Apparently he's using drugs, MC realized Qi Mo has absolute pitch when he's listening to the sound around him, and promise he'll back to music hall.

At diff place, the lover was taken by police for questioning, bc it seems he's fighting w/ MC before MC died. Someone mentioned, so it's only an accident, but ML suspicious, he didn't believe it's only an accident.

 

Wonder if ML will find out about the rebirth

 

I think that ever since Bu Bu Jing Xin's success, C novel n drama are rampant with time travel/rebirth trope
