Seen this novel recently on NU and the translators note always made me chuckle so I thought I’d check it out. So far it’s got similarities to Wu Dong Qian Kun and Battle Through The Heavens. But I’m hoping there’ll be something new to this novel further into the story. Check it out~ https://www.novelupdates.com/series/eternal-martial-sovereign/
Started reading it yesterday and am currently up to date with the latest chapter, I have always loved martial spirits novels and the MC has multiple, which also is a good thing but the story development is quite poor, it resembles most Xianxia novels in that they repeat the same things over and over again. In this series it's the healing of some important daughter from an influential clan. In the first 120 chapters this happened 4 times already and I doubt that the story will suddenly does start to impress. Overall a fun read when you have nothing to do, but not literary masterpiece that's for sure.
Lol I was just thinking that as I caught up. I hope the next person he has to cure is someone’s son lol~
Nope~ But maybe it’s too soon to expect that. Hopefully in the next 50-100 chapters it’ll become slightly more original~
but base from my experience if the start didn't breakthrough the cliche stereotype then it's hard to improve it could only get worse
Chapter 122; is it time for another prince to get destroyed? Is the writer of this novel a fan of Heavenly Silkworm Potato? Copying bits from all 3 of his novels...
Chapter 129: it’s nice to see that the people from the other families aren’t complete idiot who would fall for the Qiu family. Aren’t pretty much the majority of Chinese novels repetitive?
Chapter 132: this Qiu is really going out of their way to mess with the MC. It would be good if he could strip away their authority bit by bit as he shines. Before fully destroying them.
Chapter 134: That is retarded. What’s the point of saying self defence then coming up with conditions. Firstly he’s not a disciple of the shitty sect yet. And secondly why was a guy from your sect interfering with the matters of others? It’s not like mc just saw him and killed the guy for no reason. The guy forced the situation and was useless enough to get killed. They should be glad a guy like that who would ruin the reputation of the sect was disposed of. MC did them a service actually~
Chapter 136/137: That’s what writer says~ Yet somehow these Qiu people have met up with their group~ Very quickly as well. And oh look the Yan family have met up with each other real quick as well. That’s just stupid. The writer could’ve at least have them all meet each other a while later.
Chapter 151: I really hate it when they drag it out. Time for the big reveal next. Did Xiao Yun collect all the weapons that the Qiu people gave their kids? He should be like boom~ you gave them all this to kill me so I killed them. You can only blame yourself~
Chapter 159: the poison has left the building....erm I mean the body~ so now is the princess going to become stronger than the mc?
