Author's page on Syosetsu says they're on hiatus for this but do plan to come back. They've posted this announcement on 5th March

Thanks. I do hope she'll at least finish the WN version. After reading the afterword in the LN, I feel like she isn't too motivated with this series. Saying like ...to be honest, I just wanted to work on the main story. That was the main driving factor. It's like the author is saying I just want this to be done.
there was a spoiler on animesuki that the king and her sister aren't actually in a relationship, but he's just protecting her on behalf of his friend who is.
BTW Spoiler: spoilerz in the LN she caught doug/queen jerking off to her. That was a funny scene cause she didn't know what was going on at first and thought he was sick
Their first date at the end of volume 2 has her forcing Queen/doug and another one of their friends to crossdress as girls while she dressed up as a rich mafia-like stereotype with a coat, glasses, candy cigar while walking through town and made them handfeed her parfaits at a restaurant lol.
Spoiler After they were done at the cafe/restaurant, she sent Remie back and he gladly left. Leaving Queen cross dressing alone as a girl... But then she confessed to Queen that she had planned this punishment (the manliness game) as an excuse to get them their real date. Then they went shopping, watching theater, dinner while holding hands. Too bad, no kiss yet.
