I think because he lacked the cultivation and lifewheel, he picked a physique that was entirely reliant on his own body. Other immortal physiques could be heavily dependent on his blood energy or spirit energy, not this one.
didnt he pick this one because it was one of the 8?9? supreme cultivation techniques, and also he developed it for like thousands of years to perfection?
Yea its the Physique Scripture, but there are also 12 different ones in it and he chose this particular one.
That make a lot sense since it repeatedly mention fate and blood was impossible to change except for body.
Eh, it'll become apparent later on why he chose supreme ultimate singularity body technique. His current ability load-out is pretty amazing, even as a beginner tier. A hint: E = mv^2. Science will wreck your shit. As a side note, there's a shitton of old geezers in this story. You can't go three chapters before tripping over some crotchety old man that's supposedly ridiculously OP, especially the further in you get. I think this story seriously needs a tag for all the super senior citizens in it.
It's nice to finally get a novel where at least some people can see Mt. Tai. Really didn't think the girl would be so ok with how Mc said she could only be a sword maid. Thought she would be all arrogant and demand everything to be canceled and talk about how she would destroy the sect.
I would say the Demon Emperor is the best example of this. Even when all of his elders were skeptical, he was still polite and respectful towards Li Qi Ye.
Whenever I read Emperor's Domination, I keep on thinking of GEoM from WH40k, because I translate the current world he's in as "The Human Imperium World."
i think its mostly due to the fact that he demonstrated he does have the power destroy the entire sect, even her elders that she respect treats the mc specially so she wants to see what it is all about
Yeah, I remember reading the original Chinese raws but I dropped it. The prologue has him chasing after one of his goats into a forbidden zone where his soul got sucked out of his body and dumped into that of the body of a crow spirit. The mysterious power that did this to him evidently put his body on ice while he was stuck roaming the world inside the crow spirit. The spirit part of the crow isn't actually immaterial but a way to say it's not a normal crow body, which makes sense if you consider it lived for thousands of years. But he didn't have any shapeshifting skills. I think when he did anything, he likely manipulated it with his beak or wings or had someone do it for him. Then, something happened and his soul got sucked back into his human body and the story proper starts. So that's how he ends up back in a mundane teenage body with a really old mental age.
Oooh, so that's what happened. I couldn't really understand the first few chapters. Now it makes more sense ! Thank you.
Here is an updated glossary if anyone wants to see it. We've been pretty busy and putting the glossary into the website isn't as simple as copy and pasting. It is up to date even if some of them are only in names. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1K7nlI4dJH5J6EkXWAg2Kz-qc5dAEmP1UEiwkeopmZMw/edit?usp=sharing
You should also add a list of his inventory, it gets pretty big and I had to backtrack a few times to remember where and when he got a McGuffin.
the masochism in his students is growing strong.... the war the section leader teaches is pretty bs though a like 10 minute lecture and then good bye
I think that is the common way of doing it though. The seniors will preach and it is up to the individual aptitudes to learn from them. Xian Xia is a dog eats dog world, where the talented will be rewarded and they won't waste time with the weaker disciples. Li Qi Ye was just going above here
I enjoyed how he beat those kids into submission. Pretty soon he'll gain an army of little martial brother & sisters who'll follow him saying "big brother".
