A church, no, not a cult. A recognized religious state of influence which houses and intercepts like a church, except it values the cardinal functions of humanity rather than an ideal human. (Practical yet idealistic) This church is not demonic though the methods may be somewhat inhuman. (Pragmatist) This church is not perfect and mostly good either but it is a steadfast household of divinity which comforts the sins of Man. (Counsels the lowly and supports the lesser of many) This church is not corrupt but its own creed is flawless imperfection of Man. (Accepts failure) This church forgives the faults of Man but not the sins born from within Man. (Confronts failure) This church entitles Man to cultivate sin for the betterment of others and not to deprave themselves with it. (Struggle is an endeavor in living a fulfilling life) This church acknowledges other religions or faiths but does not tolerate abusing sin. (Allows imperfection but detests wantonly spreading it) Does this kind of church (religion) exists in some novels here at NU or perhaps something similar of its system?
Dont think something like that exists, but i wanna ask did you think of those points yourself or there exists a cult with those ideals?
definately not western setting novel World Reformation Activities of the Dark God — Loving Humans So Much, I Reincarnated in One — maybe or The Legend of Sun Knight
This is kinda ironic... because I was going to use the curiosity killed the cat tag, but I did not. Now lo and behold, a cat appears before the beholder! Ha-ha! Anyways, I'm curious if there's a fantasy (medieval or modern) church with that kind of setting, ya know? Myself obviously. I read that one, but that church is kinda different from what I had in mind.
Offering? I thougt it was a test subject in the great strugle to make a cat girl, that we then use as sacrificial offering.

" Indeed. Cultivate the beast cat and feed it to the hungry. All is accepted in the eyes of Man for hunger receives and forgives all. Let there be neither lesser or greater value than the limbs, eyes, heart, liver, or any part of the beast cat. All is accepted and swallowed by hunger. Hunger forgives cruelty, insanity, and lust. Come and feast with your eyes, hearts, and tongues. Rip and tear the beast cat for the life you taken shall bind you to Eternal Life. May the beholder bless you in the upcoming days of hunger. " Sorry but I don't worship tentacle cats. That would defeat the purpose why I'm searching if it exists or not. I shall continue my search for the promised church! Oh! Historical info with timelines! Nice.
