Can anyone recommend manga which is similar to Skip beat or Akatsuki no yona ? I really liked the story line of those two pls mention some
If you like Akagami no shirayuki hime, then I recommend kemono no souja, it’s not romance orientated, but as a wonderful story and strong female lead quite similar to shirayuki
Kainushi wa Akuma Namaikizakari Akagami no Shirayuki Hime Akatsuki no Yona Kurohakushaku wa Hoshi wo Mederu Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 Pellua Iyagi Sabaku no Harem I just copy and paste my romance manga list. Quite a couple of them have already been listed, just ignore those. And a majority should be shoujo but I could be wrong.
Spoiler She literally interacts with a blond ren she mistakes as corn, but believes he’s a magical fairy prince. On the upside though, she finally starts to realize her feelings for Ren. We also find out more about her parents.
You should try out I See Your Money! It's a series that I actually just recently started after seeing the trailer pop up in my YouTube recommendations. It definitely has one of the more unique plots that I've seen for a romance series, and so far I've really enjoyed it!
I am always looking for mangas with a similar feeling to SB and AnY, since they are my favorites! Difficult to find any manga as awesome since they are the very best, but still there are some that are very good. I'll just say some of the ones I also enjoy a lot, hope that you can find a few that you like: Reimei no Arcana (very good, with strong MC, also red-haired <3 though you might shed some tears in the last chapters) Otoyomegatari (lovely art and lovely stories) P.A. (private actress) (also about acting, brave and determined mc, love it!) Cheese in the trap (my favorite webtoon, give it a try!!!) Warau kanoko-sama (also one of my faves, absolutely love it! it's short since its the prequel to another manga, but read it, totally worth it!!) Arslan Senki (similar to ANY -setting of recovering the kingdom- but with a male prota -though he isn't your typical strong overconfident but rather weak and soft that will strive to grow up and gain power; still very worth it, seen only the anime -recent version, not old- but it was a good adaptation, by now the manga must have advanced a lot compared to last time, theres also LN but not translated...) Horimiya (romcom, very nice and funny in general, doesnt end when the protagonists get together) +C: sword and cornett (completed, male protagonist and no romance, but i really loved the story) Akagami no shirayukihime (nice and sweet, slow romance, very heartwarming) Sabaku no harem (gutsy mc, too bad they dropped the translation ) Colette wa shinu koto ni shita (cute and heartwarming, not such a strong presence as AnY or SB but nice if you have some free time) Akuma to love song (i read it long time ago, but it was a mc with very sharp character) if you are fine with webtoons, I would also recomend Kubera and Hooky, thought they are not similar SB or AnY since webtoons and manga are quite different when it comes to the way plot is developed and everything, also completely different setting ang kind of story, but still very good stories Also, series that I started with the manga adaptation and then shifted to the LN that I also like a lot and I think you might want to give a try, maybe first try the manga and then the LN as i did: Kusuriya no hitorigoto Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami (common sense of a duke's daughter) Shen yi di nu In general, these are all series with a strong female lead, not in the sense of physical strength but one that has a decisive character and unlike all those shoujo MC that are all the same and end up boring you after reading a few mangas. To me, the first 5 that i listed are a must read (besides, 3 of them are already completed). I hope you have lots of free timeso you can try reading them and enjoy them! tell me if you like them
Chang Ge Xing - for me, this is the best Manhua I've ever read, it's the Reversed Version of Akatsuki no Yona but has same premise. Nana - one of the best shoujo out there, focuses on two characters that has the same name, the mature version of Skip Beat.
