So throughout high school, I found out that most people either hate kids or don't like them. I don't know if there's any special reason as to why those people hated kids and stuff because I love them. However, I have acted as a babysitter since middle school and when I was younger, my mom's friends children were all younger by at least a few years so I was the one who had to take care of them whenever their parents and them came over(which happens a every week due to some weekly bible study for adults). As I grew older, more and more families joined in with children as young as 2 years old and I was always in charge of watching them even in high school. So yeah, this is why I'm used to taking care of kids and can say I love kids. But not many people in my high school like kids and would abhor the idea of having kids in the future. Am I just the weird one out here and is it normal for every young adult to have the idea that they don't want kids now or even in the future. Or is this just a sign of how with every generation, people feel less and less responsibility. Anyway, if you don't like kids, please tell me why because I'm really curious about the reason. Please don't say any stupid reasons some people I knew said like I don't plan on marrying and want to just mess around because I've heard of that reason enough already.
I think kids are annoying and noisy. I generally don't really like them. But I'd love to have a kid/s, so I don't like kids except for my own.
For me it kinda depends on the personality of the kid, I like my nephews and nieces because they are all easy to talk to and are obedient byt I dislike my neighbors' kids
I don't mind kids, wouldn't mind babysitting them once in a while, I can't say I would be overcome with glee over the idea of spending time with them. I do like hanging out with them sometimes, I'm good friends my with my friend's little sister, she is a cool girl also one of the few people who also read web novels that I am close to.
I always found most people just didn't have an opinion. I liked them when I was younger but now that they are all addicted to a variety of screens, they are incredibly irritating to deal with. (Yes I am self-aware of my own screen-addiction). Even the better ones just want to show you something on their screens, something obviously inane and boring, or some online game where you now understand why your teammate plays like a 9 year old kid, because he is one. And pity their teammates deeply.
Kids are adorable! ...as long as you’re not the nanny. It’s a whole different world when you are just a bystander versus being in charge of them -_-
like most things, it depends... I'd definitely not want have to change diapers or listen to endless crying for years on end however
