I used to have a Windows 10 computer that allowed me to edit 1200*1200 resolution pictures using the built in photo editor (Not paint).
I need to continue my picture work on a Windows 7, but it doesn't have the same photo editor as that of the one in Windows 10. Additionally, paint cannot work on anything more than 1200*1200 resolution pictures.
I need a photo editor that can do so, please help.

If you want a photo editor Gimp is free and efficient but it will probably be too complicated for someone only used to paint.

I'll try it, but are you sure it can edit 1200*1200 pictures?
Costs money. Even if pirated, it's too big, and I need to get the pictures done in a few days.

    Gimp should be fine

It's just editing them, shouldn't be that complicated?

I'm pretty sure it can. Even if it can't you don't exactly lose anything by trying, a bit of time aside.

Copied from another forum: "GIMP has an image size limit of 262144 by 262144 pixels."

Photoscape. that's the one I used if it's just cropping, resizing and combining images

Gimp can be used professionally so yeah no problem for a mere 1200x1200 picture.

Just remember that if you want to save a file in JPEG format you have to select "export as" not "save as".

On Windows I suggest paint.net (yes, that's really the name). It feels like Adobe Photoshop lite, but it's completely free.

Hold on. Photoshop can't work with 1200x1200? This is new to me.

By too big, I meant too big in file size. I had a limited time, so I didn't want to waste it downloading Photoshop.

Pixlr? They have a version you can use in your web browser for free, Pixar Express or something.

I second Paint.Net, GIMP or Krita would also work and all those are free.
