Fortunately he's got a different imperative now...survive. Today, it looks like the djinn is about to kill another student..plot chapter.
I'm thinking that Shin Jonghak is the Violet Banquet user "Youngfly". He mentioned that he was looking to see if there was more of the item he purchased, and we're then told that the website he was looking at was Violet Banquet. The timing doesn't line up quite right, but he could have simply been checking to see if there was a response to the message he sent earlier. That and if this wasn't the case, it would be an awfully pointless piece of information for the author to go out of their way and tell us right then.
Glad to see a MC thrown into another world show some humanity and struggle a bit. Most of the time MC that are thrown are just whatever and faceroll everything
It's must be him as you said but.... Doesn't matter as long Mc didn't visit that mountain,Mc wouldn't trip/fall over the root(ginseng)
I wonder how long the author will drag it out before admitting that the MC followed her. Crippling them would be counterproductive. Every person in that room is vital for the survival of humanity. If he actually did attack them in the way that you're suggesting, I'd lose all respect for him as a character.
Kim Hajin straight up said that even Shin Jonghak's followers were key to the story, up to the mid-point. He is already changing the novel's path, along with the Co-Author's interference so he would only stand to lose it he took them out early.
You forgot the main one, the MC is not a d*ck. It's like when someone takes a single swing at you and misses, you might get aggressive and angry but generally people don't attack back straight away or *ahem* cripple others.
Yep, too many Kim's and -hak/-hyuk's for that to happen. We would need a Lin/Chu/Yun for the MC to cripple for little to no reason.
But I thought if it was Chu, it was to r*pe 18 generations of the offending family's women (9 backwards, 9 forwards). God damn it Chu F*ng, keep it in your pants.
People assume that the same Devil is contracting heroes to become Djinns. This is why they wouldn't think that Djinn would attack another Djinn..
Hajime is waaaaay too OP compared to all the other humans and he even spared the life of the guy who nearly killed him in the first dungeon when he rejoined with all the other heroes. Hajin is way too weak to fight against an average cadet and his priority is too make the story more interesting and develop the other heroes.
I keep forgetting he is the father of their world. When there are times like that, i just wish he has rubber bullets to use as a warning shots
Even if they all worked for the same devil, there's no reason to believe that said devil wouldn't sacrifice a weak Djinn in order to clear suspicion of a stronger or better placed Djinn.
Yes, but you forget these characters are 16/17 years old and haven't gone out into the scary world yet so they aren't cynical paranoid b*stards like us.
Honestly, this level of suspicion actually comes from watching too many cartoons/anime when I was younger...
So this was why he chose shooting as his combat ability! Anti material rifle...snipe tanks! Imagine a full mana boosted version...Hajime would be proud. He is OP! One mana bullet is meh...how about a hundred? A thousand? A million? How about a missile? Gun options... MG-42: medium machine gun, VERY high rate of fire. RPG-7: anti tank rocket. Metal Storm System: max rate of fire 1.7 MILLION shots a minute. He's OP...SO OP! These days 16/17 START cynical...
He is OP if he can prepare beforehand, like bullets and other setting improvement through the use of SP. He is more OP even because we don't have any idea already just how much his SP is and the rate he generate SP. As for the plot, since he is an author, and this world is even his original work before the changes...he should be able to see any foreshadow that happened around him. At least, he should not be worse than us...like for example, the Kim Suho x Yeon Yeoha line. He should had realized that because of his help, Yeoha's attention and interest was channeled to him instead of to Kim Suho.
I don't get why he wasn't following her or monitoring the Djinn's communications. So, where did he get the sniper rounds? Also curious how he plans to justify the bullet modifications. It'll be hard to dodge questions about them at this point. I wonder how he'll explain being able to hack the school's systems, and if he'll get in trouble for it.
