C173: I have to wonder abut the hack writer that wrote the "original" story and its characters. These people are all highly delusional. Though I do agree that Li Xiuwen shouldn't have raped Su Meng. If he was fed up with her, then he should have just kicked her out.

Feeling a bit sorry for Su Xiaobao here. She wasn't nearly as evil as her brother as far as I could tell. She just did what he told her to do since he was the only authority figure around for the majority of her life.

I'm curious about the original's reaction when she comes back and sees the state that her "loved ones" have been reduced to.

Also curious what arrangements the MC will make for the original's mother. She doesn't deserve to be trapped under the control of those two losers.

 

next time is a horror story where the female lead will be the last survivor then realize how much her boyfriend loves her. All three of her roommate die by some kind of vengeful spirit. And the reason why the got haunted is because of some random game came up by the FL

I don't think there's an "original" story unless the author is doing like HN1F and basing things on specific books. These are universes she's traveling into not stories. But, then Li Xiuwen would be a reasonable person, and not someone who would drive a family into poverty just to steal his girl.

Their crazy legal system strikes again. Who would send armed police after a 6-year-old and then put him into a juvy center for this? Brainwashing or death? It's like they think this dude is Zero from Code Geass or something. You can keep an eye on someone and prevent them from causing trouble without doing all that. Or even just keep him in prison for life without executing him at 18.

 

There's an original in the cannon of this story. Though you're probably right about there not being an original in real life, but it was the former that I was referring too, and to a lesser extent, the source material that inspired the author of this series' impression of that fictitious original.

 

I hope this isn't leading down the prostitution route again, especially hoping that such a route won't involve the little girl. Not only is it incredibly boring from a reader perspective to do the same thing over and over again, but the little girl really doesn't deserve to be caught up in such things, and there are plenty of jobs out there that a single mother can take on to support herself and her child if she's willing to work hard.

Why would the doctor agree to amputate when a cast would work just fine? She didn't even bribe him.

 

Well, unfortunately her mother seems to be retarded and unable to do anything that doesn't involve relying on men. I mean weren't there suppose to be a bunch of guys who were chasing after her? Why not go after another one? She has to be good looking. Why not go into modeling? If you're gonna have sex for money then why not at least try to become a porn star?

We've already seen that these people are crazy. I'm assuming that she used her rights as his wife to force a specific treatment. I'm positive that it would be completely illegal to do that. At least in the Western World. Hospital would have been sued and that money to make a comeback would have been gotten very quickly.

I'm not sure she actually would be. Mainly because it's so absurd that the responsibility would probably all fall on the doctor. Like you said she didn't bribe him. It's up to the doctor to 'educate' her and say that's not the correct treatment in this situation.

I can only remember her eating all fish so that the MC couldn't get any. Maybe sucking up to the grandparents too. Nothing like the boy who is pushing people down the stairs and hacking banks.

 

She basically just did what her brother told her to do. I don't think any of the plans were actually hers. It's hard to say if she's morally bankrupt like her brother, or how this experience will shape her worldview. She's still quite young, so it's not like she can't be saved if she's just put into the hands of someone who actually cares about her as a person rather than a concept or a possession.
