I just started the novel, so I wanted to know is his 1st spirit really shitty? Or will it evolve or something? And what about his blue silver grass is it the grass or the emperor version ... Also what are those golden things on his body

What should we think about qidian suddenly upping a lot of chapters?

 

I think it is a crap move. I glanced at the first paragraph of a Qidian chapter and the quality is quite poor. The quality pales in comparison to Hyperdimensional's work.

 

Hyperdimensional Vampire is a good guy and a good translator but his pace was ruining the novel,LDK have almost 2000 chapters we need at least 2 chaps a day and he did not seem be up to the challenge. Curious fact this time wuxiaworld seemed to know that QI would stole LDK from them and started launch chapters more regularly(not that it changed anything)
unfortunately, it's too late.

 

The chapter's being released aren't THAT slow normally...

But, qidian is using their money to try and destroy the competition... making money off of what was free and once for everyone to use....

It's an evil organization... and people don't seem to care, supporting it anyways and screwing themselves over... yet people wonder why Trump was able to become president of the US...

 

Well the sad state of affairs, is that no matter how much we dislike Qidian, they are in their right when it comes to owning the stories they have copyright over. The problem is how they enforce that copyright, and more to the point, that qidian does not respect any laws that benefit them the most, they are directly tied to the Communist party in china, so they are quite literally the law in china. They can (and do) do whatever they please, but perhaps worst of all is that they behave like bloodsuckers, they don't help the webnovel scene grow properly, they just force out loads of content to earn money.

 

And in the long run, it'd be bad for us web novel viewers, and there is no guarantee that it'd last... in fact, once the competition is gone, it's probably not going to last and the price will probably go up...

 

Err, for starters bro there’s no way they’re earning money rn if what they pay the TLers and Editors are true. Earning money isn’t that easy, especially earning money out of the pockets of an audience with a majority of em being teenagers who are used to reading free content and aren’t willing to pay for it (not saying they’re wrong, cuz I’m one too).

And Qidian is not making any profIts from translations. Their goal is to spread Chinese culture then they might get money from licensing agreements for other merchandise like toys etc

 

I don't recall saying that Amazon or similar western companies was better, all I said was that qidian is bad. Bad doesn't mean it's the worst imaginable, it might even be okay at current, but that doesn't mean we can't strive for better no?
