Same problem here, too. Every time someone comes up to me and starts talking to me like they know me I get incredibly confused. Because I most likely feel like I've never seen them before in my life. ... I can't remember faces, I can't remember names. I can't remember people.
I have a good memory in regard to events and people, but I am terrible with names, I sometimes even forget the name of a good friend for like 5~30 sec. I am the guy that asks "Hey do you remember when..." and the other party "???"
I get what you mean. My friend goes all " remember how that chick looked at me " . Never happened. He just checks out any female that passes by to Roshi levels of too long. On the other hand, when he mentions a person we talked with recently I never remember their names and need a physical description.
Wth, dude! Reading other people's letters? Not cool. Also, you made me feel like I'm back in school getting my work graded... Are you a ginger by any chance?
What? No, of course not... Wait... My brother is a ginger... Well kinda... does that make me a ginger too?
Yeah, but I'm not in your country and in mine 50 is the bare minimum to pass. Getting 60 from your side makes for a good mark on a resume on my side. You can say we have different standards for our expectations...
To be fair, I am also not good at remembering the names of people for the most part. The only people who are the exceptions to this are people who left either a strongly positive or negative impression on myself. To be more specific, people who I platonically like or people who I really hate for whatever reason. I have no problems with remembering the faces of people though.
