Name: Through the Looking-Glass, and What Iris Found There | 鏡の国のアイリス -SCP Foundation- 1 Raw Link: http://www.hifumi.co.jp/books/lineup/9784891995034.html NU Link: I don't think it exists yet. Why It Should Get Picked Up: Because it's an SCP light novel. A fucking SCP light novel. Description: It's a story about SCP-105 and this Japanese dude who gets transported to her. I kind of want to read this because it's SCP. There's already quite a bit of canon for SCP-105 so I'm looking forwards to seeing what this can add. Also, due to the nature of the source material, it should be legal to translate it. Anyways, sypnosis:
.....Wasn't this the Doujin Novel that cause storm months ago about it being an SCP novel? It's turn into an Official LN now?
darn, now i remember this one. . . . if i'm correct it is like that polaroid cam? that girl? ps: darn it really is that polaroid one. . .
I hope the protagonist survives with this sanity intact by the end of this light novel. I doubt [Iris] can escape from the Foundation, since its the Foundation. He would have to start a containment breach if he wants to escape with this [Iris]. Is there romance in the genre or not? I'm curious on how will this light novel portray the SCP universe from this protagonist POV or is the light novel 3rd POV?
That's a very big info dump to read.....what are these SCP and how did it originate? Is this a Japan thing?
I actually have a copy of the book, though since I don't understand japanese, it's taking a VERY long time to translate sentence through sentence while making sense of the machine-translation + human errors from using the right characters. (;-.-) one day of hard work has only gotten me 3 sentences... "After school, it is nice to go to a certain library. I don't really like reading at other places. I also don't like going around the city, even if my cellphone has manga on it." Yep, main in the arse. 放課後、とある図書館に寄るのが日課にねつぜいろ。 別読所が好きなわけじ方ねい。どちらかという街を走り回るほうが好きだし、漫画すらスマホで
Little update. https://twitter.com/gomanga/status/1118990882211008522 Seven Seas picked this up, so I'm going to mark this thread as resolved.
