How much of the story is it going to cover? It's probably gonna be 12 episodes so will the first 6 cover kumoko's escape from the dungeon, with the attack on the elf village as the season finale?
And how much time will be spent on the side stories?

What are your thoughts?

 

The way they made her look was weird....
I preferred the manga rendition. this might take some getting used to.....

 

No way it gets anywhere near the Elf Village if it's 12 episodes.

At the latest it might reach getting out of the dungeon (as escaping the dungeon could make an end point interesting enough to make people want another season/read the novel), but I would bet more on it ending after she beats the Fire Dragon or maxes Taboo.

Depending on how they stretch it, I wouldn't be too surprised if it ends at discovering the middle layer, though I do think that feels a little too early.

 

They may end up padding it out by playing to the twisted timeline, with all those scenes of Shun growing up, before Kumoko even gets out of the labyrinth. It depends on how they emphasize it, they could have each of the "milestones" for the reincarnators, and Kumo-chan, being season finales, discovering the middle layer, and Shun meeting Katya, meeting the first Earth dragon, and Shun starting school/rivalry with Yuugo. Those could either be season finales, or mid-season breaks.

 

So whats the deal with Raising the Dead? Just got to Oni vs Oni 3, and every chapter from them is gone, with the exception of some of the more recent chapters. It's impossible to read what looks like around 40% of the story now.

 

Didn't they move to a new site?

 

From the looks of it, I think they did? It's been quite some time since I've read from them, but It looks like a new design. But as it is now, the only way for me to read the rest of the story now is through epubs and aggregators most likely, as the earliest chapter on their site is from May 2018, and it shouldn't take too much effort to move the chapters that they had translated and were readily available to the new site. Plus there's no mention of a new site on the Group News section, so they should have had time if they planned to move the new chapters I'd imagine.

No the demon kings the mother of the queen taratect and kumo is the demon kings granddaughter... I think~

 

Only distantly, since Potimas didn't only use clones, he also abducted and altered people...might not have been a new development, Ariel may also have just been some child....

 

I would say no but I think it's hard to be 100% certain. If you were super generous you could say that they're half-sisters.

Ariel essentially has three parents (one of which is original human Potimas and another of which is a spider). The person Oka-chan thinks of as her father is not physically Potimas though, even if he is being controlled by Potimas. I don't believe that Oka-chan's biological father is the converted-to-elf Potimas but might well be genetically very close.

Is the Past Arc vital to the main story? I plan to read it eventually, but I'd rather put it off, I want to get back to the aftermath of the War, but I feel like I'd miss info thats important to the upcoming main chapters, like Sariel's personality and Kumo's Origin story seem like they might be relevant to what happens in the main story.

 

It's all pretty important to understand why the older characters do what they do and who they are, but it's probably not as important as you think it is for what Kumoko's gonna do in the future.

I'd still give it a read though.

She had a head start since spiders mature almost immediately so whatever age the other reincarnators are plus one. So like 17
