No just wanting new update that's all ^^ Those are oldies and the news ones should attract more attention. The old saying goes "A picture is a worth a thousand words".
Sorry but those were rejected again. It's a preference thingy and I prefer the ones currently on NU. For The Wizard World, I prefer the one currently on NU. Spoiler: The Wizard World {} VS {} I wish the Advent of the Archmage image on NU was larger but I still prefer it over the generic image. Spoiler: Advent of the Archmage vs {} That's basically just your preference. I think the current one on NU looks better but that's just my preference too.
Oh well your'e the boss. The TWW skeletal cover is so tattered but if that's your liking then no more brushing in.
Hi. The like limit of 135 is it for a 24 hour period? 1.11 There's a like limit? What's the limit? A like limit was implemented to stop users from spamming likes to boost another account. The like limit is currently set at 135.
Yup 135. Each like refreshes 24hrs after its used. You can buy a like extender using nuffies for more likes *Pokes @AliceShiki *
Thank you. I usually use the "reading list" to just look at updates instead so I haven't noticed that feature before. (as it doesn't appear on the reading list) So that is where it is at on the novel page, that is very easy to miss. Thank you. Incidentally, I noticed there are 3 stats for it novel with a linked LCD, blue novel with no linked LCD, gray novel with all chapters being hidden due to a website being delted, no bubble icon at all. for example: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/demons-diary/ no bubble icon at all because the chapters are hidden. Clicking to show the hidden chapters reveals the bubble icon. I imagine this is not intentional?
Hi, I am trying to start using the RSS feed to track which chapters I've read and what not. But, it seems like it only shows that latest 24 (give or take) chapters only. Is there a way to reverse the RSS feed to give me the OLDEST 24 items? Quick example: Isekai Nonbiri Nouka, has 114 chapters, using the green RSS link in "Reading List", I can see Chapters 114 through 90 (24 chapters). But, since am starting to read the novel now from chapter 1, I would much rather see Chapters 1 through 24 (assuming 24 is the limit). My goal here is to get a list of chapters I have not read yet in order, starting from the oldest available (in my case, Chapter 1), rather than the newest. Any suggestions? I didn't see anything in the url of the RSS that would allow me to reverse the order. Any help would be appreciated. If this is something that the site lacks, and needs some programming work to get added, I would be more than happy to take a look and contribute if possible. I have quite a few years of experience programming. Just let me know.
don't. use the site's reading tracker instead. Just go to https://www.novelupdates.com/reading-list/ this shows you all the stories you have marked as reading on novel updates. it shows you which chapter you have marked as read. you can click on the book icon to show next few chapters as well as two arrows forming a circle which means to automatically mark latest chapter as read. you can also go to a specific story and mark a specific chapter as your current spot
Hi, @mrttao, thanks for the suggestion, I understand the idea behind using the site's reading tracker directly, yet, the RSS feed is much more flexible and easy to embed into things like RSS readers. Which allow you to have a better reading experience on mobile. Specially things like applying Dark Themes and enabling Text-To-Voice features. When I'm in the PC i don't mind using the reading tracker, but, on my phone or tablet, having access to a properly sorted RSS feed would be a big benefit. Which in my case, i use mobile devices 99% of the time when reading novels. Edit: I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask the question, feel free to direct me to the proper location if one exists
alright. I am sorry but I don't know how to make the RSS work for this. that said, I am currently personally using dark theme on the reading list, so that feature at least can be applied to it. I am not sure about test to speech.
Henlo is there a function where you can go to the novel on NU from its LCD page on NUF directly? (Aside from the link on the 1st page bcus I dont usually end up there) Sometimes I see an LCD with an interesting novel title while swimming theough forums so I'd have to search for the novel manually (like go to NU and search the title) I'm just wondering if there was such a function so it would be easier to get to the novel.
Nope. Well its generally a rule for the LCD of the novel to contain links to the Nu page but it gets ignored quite often
Usually, decent people would link the novel on the first post. Of course, not everyone is decent. If you feel like it's a problem for the LCD you're following, report the first post of the LCD thread. Some kind-hearted, not lazy like me, would probably help adding in the link in said post.
