    Turns into a turtle. Could also be western dragon, their heads would look more turtle like than eastern dragons.

    Cale slayer ancestor could be from his mothers side, that way his siblings are not descendents of the dragon slayers.

    But then the dragon would have wings, so eastern one fits more, since there's a type mythical creature that looks like a dragon turtle in eastern mythos

    I'm pretty sure Cale has never been afraid in the novel? Like, he's made lots of concious decisions about his safety but he was never AFRAID. Walks into fire just like ye i can take it. Toonka and whale fight in front of him and he's just 'I got WET'.

    my thoughts are the boss is going to be a dragon. hence the whole cale's having a dragon slayer bloodline and his not knowing. i would think the dragon slayer bloodline is from his mom hence she died, was killed? maybe by Arm? they never said how she died. just that she died.

    Urg... I'm getting a naive goody two-shoes tricked into doing something terrible vibe from the Saint. I mean, I guess it would be easy for Arm to convince them the crown prince of the Empire is an evil that must be stopped. Only why are they still with Arm even after the Holy City massacre and attacking the elf village?

    I thought that at first too, but Cale told Beacrox to warn Toonka the Empire had dead mana bombs, and one apparently injured the Holy Maiden, so it looks like the Saint thought Cale and company were pursuers from the Empire at first.
