Is there a way to hide release from certain groups (tapreads) in my reading list?

You can only hide groups from the Main Page by use the Release Filtering, but there is no way to hide them from your Reading List.

Is there a way to see and check locked chapters like webnovel's?

There isn't, locked chapters go against NU's policy, so they're not going to be available on the site.

Was there a major update at some point that changed how updating read chapters on your reading list? The how to info here doesn't look like what I'm seeing and definitely doesn't work the same. It's that or my browser isn't showing the same as whatever was being used to display the How to. Using FF currently

What it looks like when I click the book icon, only shows a few chapters or a option to update to lastest release

    Also, thank you Raneday!

Thanks for the help, though not what I was hoping for lol. I guess I'll just have to click the button to latest update even though I haven't read upto that point on most of these. Oh well. clicking through 4 chapters a go in a 400+ chapter title isn't my idea of a fun time xD

iinm it has always been that way, when you clicked the book icon. If, you've read way further than the few listed there but not at the latest, you can mark it on the Novel page instead. I'm not sure if there is any other way without switching to Manual Reading List.

Ah I didn't think of that, I'll give it a try, hopefully that'll save me hours of clicking, much appreciated either way, super helpful and fast :)

EDIT: Sadly no, this doesn't work, to update to a certain point that isn't to the "lastest release" I'd have to do this through the reading list menu, not the title's page. This limits me to only clicking 4 chapters at a time or latest release.

You can't navigate to the novel page and click the checkbox beside the releases? Screenshot_20190211_121806.png

    1. Go here: https://www.novelupdates.com/reading-list/
    2. Click on Global Setting.
    3. Check the box beside Enable Reading List and Enable Quick Add.
    4. Go to the front page.
    5. When you see a release for novels you like, tick the checkbox beside them.
However, doing this would mean you will have all those novels you Fav-ed dumped in one huge list.
