Nope. But shippers have a tendency to consider any interaction between 2 or more people, same gender or not, the start of some twilight-esque romance story. I'm fairly certain this story ends without anyone getting any piece of Hajin, but it's more fun to scream with the crowd of lunatics than it is to be screamed at.
Knowing the author's track record, I'm fairly sure all ships out there will end up busted. But then and again, it isn't illegal to continue shipping. Kek.
I don't know if many of you read the teasers or not. If you don't skip what's below this. Is Nayun really going to find out about her brother and forgive Hajin?
If she doesn't come to the conclusion that jinyoon was a devil herself then the old guy will tell her while facepalming
The story has been leading to Nayun finding out about this since the start. Really the only question was how many times would she try and kill Hajin before she find out that nugget. Nayun has been trying to understand why Hajin killed her brother, and she hasn't found a shred of evidence to explain that behavior. Now that a devil has been officially disclosed as being present on Earth, that easily opens up the avenue that something bad happened to her brother. Add to the fact she's been practically screaming for a reason to forgive Hajin for the last 100+ chapters, the fact that she'll forgive him for killing her brother is pretty much assured. Forgiving him for *NOT* telling her why he did it... well I think Hajin might be in for another beating or two...
Huh, that Devil Authority actually explains a lot. I thought it strange that someone with the ability to make up his own gifts would just ignore boosts like Djinn-/Devilhood if he can just create a gift/physique that can negate the penalties. I wonder if by that same logic something like Human Authority or Otherworlder Authority also exists. Maybe a later boss enemy will have something like a daily "kill 6 heroes automatically" and utterly wrecks Hajin's plan. I mean, come on, with the half-off offer, the co-author's basically begging for Hajin to take it so that he can throw in a similarly strong ability for an enemy boss.
I wonder if Evolving Gifts can eventually become Authorities since Hajin said that they were basically higher ranked Gifts.
As time goes on, I'm finding Nayun to be one of the more sensible and self-aware people in this novel, and that upsets me.
i always imagine this world as super high-tech so this throw me off a bit. Since they have gravity multiplier and anti-gravity technologies, I thought they'be reading articles on website or something...
It's an illusion. She was so insensible and so unaware, that the progress she's made seems astounding... but in reality the only one she's actually passed might be Aileen.
Just as a real world example, my mother is perfectly comfortable around technology. She uses her computer all day and probably has a couple of hundred websites marked. She still reads the newspaper each morning. I think it's just the author making fun of someone old be stubborn in embracing the latest technology considering he has to import the newspaper all the way up to the Himalayas.
So I guess the original Kim Chundong (replaced by Kim Hajin) was a reincarnator and was Jin Sahyuk's servant/knight in the other world. Pretty obvious considering that she specifically mentions that Hajin should've been using a sword instead of bows and guns. (Going by webnovel logic at least.)
i thought nayun's just doing "focus on your training" thing, like "i won't open the phone while studying" thing. but by how advanced the tech is, paperprint should be like, generations ago. wouldn't that makes newspaper luxury goods, kinda like those old cars are considered antique? Is that why newspaper can be delivered there? Because Heynckes is hella rich?
