    Someone asked me why I am not subbing anime. I thought that Crunchyroll was basically subbing everything that Viz isnt subbing

    Does someone care to enlighten me?
    And no, I am talking about Japanese animation not Chinese

    Most mainstream anime gets subbed nowadays but there is a lot of non mainstream stuff that does not usually made for TV movies and stuff from minor studios and some direct to dvd stuff as well

    try search anime for children
    these day most anime which have sub manly aimed for teen and above
    unless it softcore which contain some quite story I think full blown porn not worth for sub~

    Well, some anime are so dang bad that no one want to pick it up. Nowadays, I saw Sentai subs most of the anime though.

    Most OVA and ONA series never get touched by subbing companies. Off the top of my head Strike the Blood and Circlet Princess this season are struggling for sub groups. I know Augmented Reality Girls Trinary never got subbed, though I think someone made an attempt at the first couple of episodes. But fan subs are still a core part of the seasonal sub structure, especially for movies.
