    No need to panic, in the end Fuutarou will marry all the sisters

    there's a line in Chapter 32 which says that the bride needs to change the dress many times within the day of the wedding, probably sisters disguising one another while the wedding is still going on
    also the legend binding them together which all the sisters held his hands while he was in bed

    so negi is just playing with the readers feelings

    Because the story would be a mess they are sisters. Friendzoned by all sisters and having a "secret affair" as in rl on some point with every girl could be more authentic, but i doubt it could be put into praxis in this "comedy/slapstick" anime by now.

    [There is also a moral character / role model of a story and up till now i know this harem model with more than one sister as a topic of some hentai, china novels in other world, yes there were some animes/manga etc. with two or more sisters as love interest but the story was mostly "twisted" on some point that they were not living a "normal" school life. Example To love Ru the "sisters" were aliens.]

    I do not see much room in a "normal" school life, pseudo real life (no magic, supernatural etc) a good way without some drama in on one hand or secret affair on the other to build a sister harem into it and this anime work fine with comedy/slapstick and i bet on the most likely open end without one clear partner.
