Bloody hot weather and being inside a room full of acetic acid fumes from degrading 35mm films for 8 hours.
some guy coughed on me and then i spent 4 days in bed with influenza and a nasty cough + fever that was not a great week
Found out a friend was in hospital on a wet day, spent approximately an hour at each end walking in the rain between home & the bus stop, then the other bus stop & the hospital, plus another 2.5 hours at the hospital (so ~6.5 hours out), at that time I didn't own any wet weather gear other than an umbrella (still don't actually). I suppose I probably got dry while waiting for visiting hour at the hospital, but it wasn't warm regardless.
I don't know , doctor said it was bad food (food poisoning) but everyone else in the family ate the same thing and only me got sick
Oh wow. Better have her on close monitoring in a health facility. That's near hypertensive emergency. Don't delay the treatment, or she might get a stroke easily. Worst case hemorrhagic stroke. Never underestimate this kinda problem. I don't know if she have any other underlying problem but if she comes to me I would definitely refer her to the nearest hospital.
That was not her....that was me, this ancient Obasama. It's great that someone says they'd refer me to a hospital, actually. Last time I tried talking about it, another person who's supposedly training as a doctor told me if someone's admitted with a BP of 200 she'd best be sent home rather than crowding the hospital and overworking the staffs.
I am G6PD deficiency. I have this deadly allergic towards broad beans. All beans are absolutely fine except broad bean. This bastard is like the kryptonite of my life and I sometimes forgot about it.
wow share me your health a bit actually share it to them Bad one. Measles for the 3rd time. I thought 2 is max. Probably 1 week rest. Light one. Ate too much fried food and throat feels weird. It's fine the next day.
In many countries every newborn is tested if they're having G6PD deficiency or not. As soon as they're delivered, sample easily taken from their cord blood. Its easier to explain it like its an allergy to the people (it restricts them from certain food or medications), but its fundamentally different from an allergy. You can easily test it from blood samples if you're worried about it.
I was completely paralysed when I was 5 due to the fact that my kidneys failed to filter the blood and red blood cells are destroyed.
