    Not manly enough like in chinese novels where MCs go crazy and starts a killing spree when a hair on their woman is moved. Most japanese MCs are more 'passive' compared to chinese MCs. They need to be bullied or pushed to the limit before they fucking move

    I Shall Seal the Heavens is where meng hao is from, the novel is one of the best ones out there with over 800 chapters translated already and 14 FREE chapters coming each week, the start is kinda slow but he gets OP quickly after that. If you haven't read it then I HIGHLY recommend you go read it.

    @Greedyspree got it for me, but in regards to I Shall Seal the Heavens, I will say that you should almost always put the ln before the manhua, when it comes to Chinese. For Japanese and Korean it can be a bit harder to say, but ln is usually far better.

    A basic rule of thumb, the manga is worse then the novel, or tends to be a different experience. Although TDG started out...decent as far as adaptions go. Its been changing more and more. Not to mention in most cases the novels are further along in translation then the mangas.
