Nope. Compromise is an essential part of relationships. There's really no way to avoid it in any healthy relationship.

 

if it's a true love , it's possible, but if it's only lust, it's impossible, i already seen many tragedies about someone mistaken their lust as love. It's only lead to the bad ending.

Well, you can't really like everything your partner likes and in turn your partner won't enjoy everything you find enjoyable right?

But if they can't even talk about what they like with their partner without earning a snide remark or finding that the partner is not paying attention,...it would be really bad, I think.

But thinking about this if the partner is compelled to endure those things, that's compromising right?

Is it ok to remain with such a partner or should both of them try to find someone else who can listen to them and enjoy even when what they are saying doesn't make sense to them, and not just someone who compromise and pretend..Even if finding that type of person is not sure and this relationship has been going on for so long.

 

Both sides have to compromise. You are called "partners" after all. You have to work together. If you have problems like this, then you need to try to talk about it. Confront them. If they show no sign of listening to you or valuing your opinion, then they are undeserving of you. Compromising is not about single-mindedly putting up with your partner's transgressions. It's about working together to come to a solution that both of you can accept without losing too much on either side.

 

like what i said, if it's a love, we can accept every thing about our partners, negative or positive things.
Don't mistaken about love and lust.
If there's something you don't like about your partner why you dated or married your partner in the first place, except you are an M.

I think it would be possible.
It depends on what and how the other side pretends. Like, for some, somethung can be enjoyable to listen about simply due to the othet person being enthusiastic about it. Or they pretend to enjoy it, as they enjoy zhe other person talking.
Sometimes, especially in relationships i'd say, reasons are equally or even more important than actions ~

 

There is something called Stockholm syndrome too. Which should not be taken lightly..
