That said, even as he said it (or rather implied it by explaining how zeros powers worked and how he inherited it) I believe nightingale or anna were like is it true and he was like it could be you never know. Meaning it wasn't really confirmed. Later though they found that magic just didn't mesh with human males from looking at his lifespan they deduced that likely he didn't receive anything other than the realm of mind and even that was putting a strain on his body.

 

though in that case it's the other way around. She sees the lifespan based on the body's lifespan not the how the situation is. In the case of the nuke, she could see a decrease in lifespan the nuke from radiation poisoning but her power isn't able to predict what'll exactly happen. Which is why the numbers she sees can change, her power isn't omnipotent.
