long story short, they are being forced by contracts to implement a few ways to keep earning money on completed novels. There was a post today about the changes coming and to come in the near future. Just create the acconut and have your browser remember it xP.
on a side note, for me that have been reading there for years, is very rewarding seeing it grow so much.

 

At least you haven't encountered those sites that forces people to download the app first & at the same, forces you to sign in just to view anything.
They will even feed you the BS that they're just encouraging people to use their app & users are absolutely not forced to install it.

 

Not that big of a deal though the steps to make one are pretty tedious

Okay, look, coming from someone that in the past had like 20 different emails for different things, it's not a big deal. I understand that you think it's annoying to need to sign in to read, but it literally takes seconds to do this. I. Mean. Seconds.

And if you're worried about personal information, don't. Just come up with some bs email name at proton, gmail, yahoo, whatever and make a VERY easy password to remember. Remember, you're using this JUST to read some novels, not buying stuff with a credit card or putting in personal information.

I mean seriously, I made emails called oppaidragonvpn and legendary milf hunter JUST so I could get free stuff on a phone game.

Also, once you sign in you can setup to NOT sign you out. Meaning, at least until the cache for their servers reset, you don't need to sign in manually, because you never signed out.
