It’s good that you remind us about this. (y)(y) In the end, I adore what they did with wangxian. The lack of hug is personal gripe of mine, and I simply needed to vent a little.

Even if I wanted a hug, it’s not because of skinship. My favorite wangxian moment hands down is Lwj defending Wwx at Jinlintai. The connection is so palpable there. More than physical contact, I appreciate connection and chemistry between characters. It’s the same in the novel for me. :bloblove:

I’ve come to know and understand how restricted China is, the Untamed literally being the first Chinese drama I’ve watched. You are correct in that no one can miss the chemistry between the leads. Still one part of me cannot help but muse how brilliant the show would have been (and the donghua for that matter) were they allowed to stay true to the source material. Not only to wangxian, but to overall story and its themes. Mdzs is amazing piece of work, and it’s a shame it’s not allowed to shine as brightly as it deserves. But complaining will no nothing, so I’ll rest my case. :blobok:

I like the first episode of the donghua's second season very much, especially with all the special effects during the evocation scene. And they left in Lan Qiren complaining about the flute playing! If that had been skipped I would have been soooo bitter. I also especially liked the new scene with Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen talking. And it was great to see Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi again.

I wasn't entirely happy with the war flashback, since it replaced one of Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao's big scenes. But it does have some advantages. This is a visual canon, so, like with Wei Wuxian's big return in season one, they made everything flashier and larger scale. It showed us a cool fight scene and reminded us of various characters who used to be on the same side, and who will be important in the plot. The admittedly ridiculous way that JGY changed his clothes was a very quick way of showing that he was undercover with the Wens and used to be in the Nie sect.

My only serious complaint about the ep is that when the characters were saying that someone must have released the ghost hand on purpose, it showed this picture...
...and c'mon, anyone who looks closely enough is going to be able to work out it's Nie Huaisang from that.

ohhh tat make more sense ahhahahah.

ohhh WN and LSZ goin on adventure? i would love to see it.

yes sameeeeeeeeeeeee i was like nooooooooooooo y u don this lan zhan :blob_teary::blob_teary::blob_teary::blob_teary:

There's a powerful and subtle wangxian moment in ep 50 how LSZ was saying what Wei Ying taught him when he was a child, diaguising pornography as a normal book and how to court beautiful woman etc lol, and Wei Ying was embarrassed and he was looking at Lan Zhan because he really cares what LZ thinks of him lol (that's what I always love about him, like how he cares how LZ sees him); and another part was in that scene when LSZ remembers, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan was looking at each other, with so much love in their eyes, when they reminisce back to child A Yuan almost implying that it's their adopted child since they both raised him before so I really love that Wangxian moment .

I don't remember LZ said that otherwise that would really stand out for me for a rant loll

LZ sealed his powers because JGY was holding Wei Ying hostage (just like in the novel)[/QUOTE]
and wei ying treathening a-yuan he will bury him in the ground again ahahhahah :aww::aww::aww: den a-yuan just cling to his leg like damn it tat was fkin cute:aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww:

oh den its my misunderstaning lololol.:blobcheeky:

i think its just inconsitent and they wan us to guess and make it up ourselves since they cant do it, as it might be crossing the line.
but for me is lan zhan did go down or maybe not to find wei ying but found nth or tat he didnt wan to be see JC face the one hu cause his beloved death.

den he goes to burial mounds to see anything is left of wei ying to keep, but su she was alreadi there and wanting to destroy everything and lan zhan got pissed and fought them, den he got punish and imprisoned for 3 yr. and seein tat this is a AU where lan zhan won do anything to cross the line and he still thinks tat his sect and he has to stick to the rules more den his own personal feelings. so he nvr go and drag his body even aft the whips to find wei ying and onli 3 yrs later he went to find wei ying?
ya they indeed did a veri gd job. the last part wif the "wei ying" was so gdddddddddddddd i was like ohhhhhhhhhhh yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom:

hahah gogo click and riase it ahhahaha:blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy:
lets hope the hint it or show it :blobjoy:
i like the yumeng date one tat was sooooooooooo fluffyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy IM GONNA DIE:blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy::bloblove::bloblove::bloblove::bloblove::bloblove::bloblove:
cause lan zhan is just the perfect husband anyone wans ahahhahah even me MAUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHB :blobowoevil_horns::blobowoevil_horns::blobowoevil_horns::blobowoevil_horns: to dote on me and love me so much :aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww: hu wouldnt wan tat:blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy:

try usin kissasain.ch? it doesnt lag
yes tat should be the endinggggggggggg hahahahahha this is more apporirate to be the ending:blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy::blobcheeky:
I TOTALLY AGREE WIF U 2 , LIKE WTF WAS TAT MAN y cant lan zhan just go wif wei ying aft they saw WN and LSZ off, and lan zhan just made his own decision to stay behind, like realli a slap in the face to me. i wonder did lan zhan ever consider he will hurt wei ying feelings if he does tat?

but i guess he still went ahead since he knw wei ying will understand his decision, and tat is even more of a slap in the face to me like WTF IS WRONG WIF U, cant u jsut go wif the one u love and wan to protect him and keep him close? y the sudden part ways?

buttttttttttttttt in the end i think wei ying believed tat lan zhan will com find him so he just kept playin their song till lan zhan finds him and he did, and called out "wei ying" and :blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom::blob_pompom: for wei ying smile when he turn around. finally lan zhan decided to go and be wif wei ying and travel and help ppl and keep wei ying close and safe :aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww::aww:. which is so gddddddddddddddddddddddddddd i love tat part.

though the part where lan zhan nvr went wif wei ying immediately and the look on wei ying face ticked me off so badly, like damn u lan zhan hw dare u do tat to the one person u love and vowed nvr to hurt him, arent u hurtin him nw by makin him almost cry:blobangery: "flips table"

but the final and last part lan zhan called out to wei ying i just like ah fk it la they ended up together and wei ying looks so happy so just accpet it seeing as this is an AU LOLOLOLOL:blobjoy::blobjoy::blobjoy:

What is the release schedule for the Donghua season two? I know episode #1 is out already and I believe it was released on the third? A saturday. But a week has passed since then and I can't find episode #2?

Does it release every Saturday or every other Saturday? Is episode #2 out already... But just unsubbed?

This is happy camp?? Anyways i love the way Wang Yibo always bullies Xiao Zhan, he acts like a little kid around him and when Xiao Zhan bullies him back (like on his birthday with the bug) :blobjoy::blobjoy: Still i feel sorry for poor Xiao Zhan always getting picked on ahaha :blobrofl:

I feel like the donghua is having a lot of filler scenes T.T Like a part of me wish they will use this more wisely, since there's only 8 episodes in Season 2

Yes, that's the Happy Camp one :cookie::cookie: I actually want to watch the whole thing haha :blobpopcorn::blobpopcorn_cool:
Yeah, I also love the way Wang Yibo always bullies Xiao Zhan, though I'll admit that I do feel sorry for Xiao Zhan when that happens:blobrofl::blobrofl: I like how Yibo is like around Xiao Zhan, because it shows that they're close (friends) IRL :blobicecreamlove: And Yibo feels comfortable to do this on Xiao Zhan (lol) :blobjoy::blobjoy:

This is another funny one LOL

It's funny how when Yibo was asked one time in an interview, that what he does when there's break time, and his response was like "Fight Xiao Zhan" LOLLLL :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: [I'm like seriously these two is like the clowns to the whole cast providing amusement, but it's cute at the same time :X3:]

That part was cute how Xiao Zhan bullies Yibo back with the bug, haha, I love their interactions off-screen too, so anytime I saw videos on these two, I'll just watch them right away :blobpopcorn::blobpopcorn_cool:

Cries I always seem to miss out on you guys' discussion. I need to be on more...

    But anyway.
Regarding the ending of CQL, honestly, I was just grateful for the HE. OOC and everything was at the back of my mind, all that mattered was that it's a HE and that it won't get pulled off mid-series. This happened to a series that I adored called "Love is more than a word". It was the only Chinese historical BL series that included a damn wedding for the two mains. Another one that is a historical/wuxia called "Men with sword" was pretty popular too. Like CQL, it was a "bromance", but "Men with sword" got too obvious with the gay relationships that it got pulled off temporarily to be edited.

So... I'm very grateful that CQL basically ended already and people have the opportunity to experience MDZS, even if it is a very loose adaptation.

Here are some of my thoughts on CQL to join in the discussion, disregarding the censorship business!

Regarding LWJ's behavior, definitely OOC. I blame the script. It was fine up until the sunshot campaign? That's when I thought LWJ was a bit too WWX-centric? So the ending where LWJ decided to not go with WWX, it felt like a rushed decision to make up for the times where LWJ didn't debate on his internal conflict, didn't choose to be the righteous and strict moral LWJ. And definitely not really thought out very well because there is just no way that LWJ can be a chief cultivator. He has the charisma, respect, and empathy. But he lacks connections and most importantly, the ability to communicate/socialize. Let's be real, LWJ can't argue to save his life. He can't fight against the corrupted people with words. He is a man with few words, but loud actions. This is something that can woo some people, but it cannot make the majority actually listen to him if there is no benefit for them. So yeah, LWJ is not a great decision to take up a role that suited JGY. Even JC is a better choice than LWJ since NHS rejected, but eh.

Anyway, from WWX's POV, ours, and WangXian's, LWJ's decision is disappointing, somewhat hard to accept due to the strict requirements of a chief cultivator that LWJ doesn't fit, but can accept because LWJ is a good boi who will take up responsibilities to help rid the world of chaos and retain peace. What makes the ending likable, for me at least, is the fact that WWX, disappointed, but accepted that his beloved cannot join him yet, that he is willing to wait. WWX is done with dealing with corruption in the cultivation world. And personally, I'm happy that WWX did not abandon his idea of traveling to join LWJ in dealing with the cultivation world. WWX no longer has to hear slanders nor does he have to rack his brain to think up what to counter the corruption. That's tiring. Let him have his vacation. XD Plus, it shows that WWX and LWJ, as individuals, have separate responsibilities to take care of. If one individual isn't done, then the other can wait.

And finally, letting LWJ go by himself also means that WWX trusts LWJ to finish all this shitty crap quickly, trusts him to have a good enough judgment. Towards the end, WWX smiles and gets to travel with LWJ. He is finally done waiting and now he's on his honeymoon!

Next, I would like to sort of talk about the donghua?

Honestly, I have no complaints? The filler may seem unnecessary, but it's very important because not only does it attempt to fill up the plotholes that were left by the novel, but it indicates the actions that LWJ has done after WWX's death. He didn't mope around for long, he tried to clear WWX's name with the curse.

PS. JGY is so pretty (I still love LWJ), very much loving XiYao moments and I can't wait for my favorite line: "Lan XiChen! In this life, I’ve lied countless times, killed countless times. Like you said, I killed my father, my brother, my wife, my son, my teacher, my friend—of all the evil in the world, what haven’t I done?! But I’ve never even thought of harming you!”

So, in CQL, instead of Lan Zhan keeping the money pouch with him all this time (which he took from Wei Ying in the novel (mdzs)) he kept those talismans, which Wei Ying gave to Lan Zhan, all those years! And I'm like, wow, that's really something, I was somewhat disappointed with no money pouch xD But oh well, I am happy that they give us something similar xD.

Anyways, here's the source, which someone have analyzed

    Source 1
    Source 2

P.S: Reading the Lotus Seedpod Extra again, it actually reminded me just how much Wei Ying's feelings for Lan Zhan is not so-subtle (lol), it was a nice extra showing us, just as much as Lan Zhan misses and can't stop thinking about Wei Ying, Wei Ying is the same back in Yunmeng on Lan Zhan :bloblove:

*peaks in* I'd take it everyone is fine? *throws blankets, ffs/fas, tea/coffee, ice cream, tissues and 忘羡* A little late hehe but sliding in here :blobsmilehappy:

I just finished 陈情令. Didn't have time nor heart to watch the episodes when it released, ended up sneak-peeking at all the spoilers haha *tears* I was still unprepared

I don't know where to begin really so I'll start from episode 50 aka the ending haha idk?

Mm. I loved the reunion between A-yuan and Wei Ying, the part where he clings onto Wei Ying along with that flashback was sweet. :bloblove: I was looking forward to the part where Wen Ning confessed because it was Lan Zhan's wish, he kept quiet about it, earning a "scolding" from Wei Ying saying the Ghost General Wen Ning to be fearful of Han GuangJun is really making him lose face haha :blobxd:

The WangXian ending though. I see it like the alternate/open endings so I'm conflicted... *twiddle fingers* I mean, a part of me is fine with them separating, but another part of me is just frustrated at how they separated like why?! :blobsalt:

The part where Lan Zhan turned around to face Wei Ying and "nodding" his head in answer to the question if he's not going anymore asjkajhskjk *cries in a corner* I hope I'm not the only one but Wei Ying's eyes were somewhat red and he seemed to be biting back his tears yet smiles at Lan Zhan. :blobsob:

I think there was a short time skip, for them to be back at Cloud Recess and Lan Zhan becoming the 仙督. Omg I died a little seeing them play 无覊 as a duet near the waterfall :blobnosebleed: the eye contact they made to each other from the distance, so much emotions :blobmelt: Their wishes made were of the same as expected and the phrase "You're indeed Han GuangJun." "And you, are indeed Wei Ying." with the smiles exchanged!! :blobcatblush:

When they were at the top of the hill, about to go their ways, I was so frustrated when the one sentence said then was "I'll go that way" and "I'll go this way" ughh how is that the only thing you want to say? Can't Lan Zhan and Wei Ying go to where chaos is together? :blobflag:

Judging by Wei Ying's clothes, though the location's scenery is similar to where they departed, I think one can hope there a time skip? I really think that someone who called out to him was really Lan Zhan, in person. As far as I know, Lan Zhan's the only one who called him by "Wei Ying". And I think before Wei Ying turned to see, he may have probably thought he was imagining it, but after he turn around, I'm pretty sure Lan Zhan was there, that child-like smile and eyes... :blob_teary: I'm allowed to think that even here still, WangXian is true, right?

Overall, I enjoyed CQL. I feel like the characters here were more alive and more in emotions, like how Wei Ying is more weaker yet strong with his emotions, Jiang Cheng showing more care for Wei Ying here than in the novel is what I love, and Lan Zhan being less stoic. Lan XiChen seemed to reflect better with the matter concerning his sworn-brothers here too. :blobokhand:

The relationships between the characters are stronger too which I'm surprised tbh. Especially when Jin GuangYao seemed to like and care for Su She more in his own way because I can't tell anymore if he's real or not with his emotions lol. The scene in episode 49 when Su She was stabbed by Sect Leader Nie's saber, the both of them reaching out to each other was like that of lovers like I'm sorry but I laughed a little.:blobsweat_2:

Due to censorship, Wei Ying was set to be weaker so badass Yiling Laozu was lowered. I still can't wrap around the fact Su She was able to overpower Wei Ying during the Burial Mound Siege. He didn't have the seal with him that time right? Nie MingJue's fierce corpse screen time was cut in place of his saber. And I still don't understand the rule of "resurrection" with Wen Ning and Song Lan because death can't be tempered in censorship. So would Wen Ning and Song Lan be "alive" if this were taken in consideration to the novel as well? :blobneutral:

The acting of some scenes could be improved more, with the action line and CGI effects could be better in movement for sometimes less is more. The timeline and changes was a bit confusing at first but you'll grasp fast. To me, there were some inconsistency at some point in the near end of the episodes. The pacing of things could be better, there were scenes dragged or awkward. For those who haven't read the novel, seeing it from their POV, some may find it confusing with some plot holes and unanswered or questionable parts left that may be covered in the coming extras. *hides* :blob_zipper_mouth:

I love WangXian so I've hoped even in this adaptation, they are still able to, at least, travel together :blobicecreamlove: But alas, an alluring ending indeed :blobReach: At least to me, aside other BL endings in dramas, I can place this ending in the happy category. I'm just grateful that CQL was aired safely, even with the censorship issue again. Our love and many thanks to the producers, team, actors and VAs for their hard work. MXTX in writing this novel and the scriptwriters, thank you for using 知己 and having the ending be a lil' bit light to heart. :blobsmilehappy:

    Rating: 8/10.

Just a side note: I see CQL as a drama and AU with no comparison to the canon novel. I appreciate and respect every work like its own. I hope I don't offend anyone by saying so. *bows*

OMG!! This is beautiful!! :blobnosebleed::blobnosebleed::blobicecreamlove: I sincerely thank you for this. *saves to desktop*

I do too. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a Lan Zhan as a husband lol :blobcatblush: I'm sure you arent that bad. I started out in the kitchen with baking but when I have to cook meals umm I burned the water haha.

Sweet and spicy. Just like WangXian. :bloblove: I mean, I would like to try to see how it'll taste? :ROFLMAO:

Oh wow. I've read about it a while ago and heard from fans. I just didn't think it'll be this dark. Thank you, though for this. I hope fans will be more aware and shed light to this. :blobfrowning:

Lol these two really cracks me up!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:Thank you for the meal~ :blobpopcorn: It made my day a bit better hehe

I wouldnt mind though haha. At least, the lotus pods aren't just for show, you can eat it lol. Unless someone gives you edible flowers then genius :blobjoy:

I guess we know where he got those talismans where if I'm not mistaken, was shown in some scenes? It can be interpreted as Wei Ying giving Lan Zhan his own charms/talisman he's created just for him so :blobicecreamlove::blobicecreamlove: he'll takes whatever Wei Ying gives hehe

AiXin妹妹, of course, I've been waiting to hear your feelings about the ending haha :cookie:

And I can say we feel pretty much the same there, which I'm sure you've read my feelings to this ending in here previously, and yes, Wei Ying eyes really was holding back his tears where he was trying to be unselfish about it and understand Lan Zhan's reasons for not being able to go with him yet :blob_teary::blob_teary:

I still didn't like what I was shown there looking at Lan Zhan's feelings and Wangxian pov, because to me when Wei Ying comes back he's always by his side and the irony in CQL is, Lan Zhan said that he regret not standing by Wei Ying side during nightless city but in that final episode, in that scene, he was showing Wei Ying 'each to their own path' :blobsob::blobsob: :blobsob: I didn't like that because I wanted them to do this together, like I keep asking why they can't do this together? :blobconfounded:

As for the final scene where Wei Ying was playing the flute, it's definitely a time skip due to the costume change but I don't know why they can't make it clear (I guess to capture the alluring part?) So yeah, in the end I take it that he's back to Wei Ying side and they can travel together from now on without anything holding them back . That moment when Lan Zhan called out Wei Ying and that Moment when Wei Ying turned around with that smile was what saved this ending for me :blob_teary: so yeah it's not a dream, it's real.

And your rating is higher than mine :cookie:. In the end I gave it a 7.5/10 . For me it would be an 8 if there's a more solid ending where we see clearly there's a time skip and we can see Lan Zhan and Wei Ying standing side by side smiling but in the end, at least it's a happy ending implied so that's good enough for me. But I can't get pass the plot inconsistency and plot holes and how they have that stupid Sushe outdid Wei Ying  and i didn't like how it was inconsistent because I didn't understand why Lan Zhan didn't go down to search for Wei Ying's body right away because he clearly didn't have the discipline whips yet(at that time).

Anyways, it was nice hearing from your pov, for me I'm not going to elaborate my feelings anymore since I already did previously, i also treat this as an AU :)

Mmn, I do have plans to watch it even when I get distracted easily :blobsweat: I also do want to see how faithful it is to the novel :cookie: if I do watch it I'll share my opinions in here for you :blobokhand:

Lan Zhan is such an ideal and perfect husband imo :bloblove: I feel happy for both Wei Ying and Lan Zhan where they can finally be together after everything. :bloblove:

Yeah those talismans were shown in some scene and I spotted that right away but I didn't think it was really true but in that one episode , Wei Ying confirmed it :aww: you should check out that two source I shared earlier in here, since someone elaborated on it :blobicecreamlove:

P.S. and I'm also glad that CQL can aired safely where I don't need to worry about the ending anymore since those were the two I keep angsting over. But in the end I'm thankful to the cast and team for giving us something we come to love and enjoy despite all odds :aww:

I was just listening to the character song again for Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. While Lan Zhan song gives a very sad feeling, Wei Ying one is more upbeat but reading the lyrics just really touched my heart (omg). Lan Zhan's one is basically about how he misses Wei Ying and Wei Ying's one is about his feelings for Lan Zhan(I dare say it's pretty much like a confession on Wei Ying's end); and knowing this, I can live without regrets and go down with this ship. :bloblove:

CQL!Wangxian still screams LOVE! Even when it's still subtle but there are really some scenes that aren't subtle lol and I'll take this on my end :bloblove:

I'm glad i'm not the only one who feels that way. According to people episode 2 is literally a filler episode, the whole thing is making me confused about the pacing of the story. But anyways some people like it since it's only 8 episodes and they're showing like glimpses of the past instead of full on flashbacks like season 1, which i guess isn't too bad but you end up missing out on some things :blobneutral: I like some new scenes that they add though like the one with JL and WWX but overall i just hope season 3 is more longer since this one feels so short :blobpensive:

Also loving how cool Wei Ying looks as the Yiling Patriarch and when he uses demonic cultivation, the fighting scenes are great too :blobpopcorn:

Is happy camp their last public appearance together or is there more?? Ahahha at first i felt a bit bad for Xiao Zhan but sometimes he teases Wang Yibo back so i don't feel bad anymore :blobjoy: They basically turn into 3 year olds when they're together, i like it cause it shows how comfortable they are with each other hehe

That's so cute :aww::aww: I love how CQL can give us them subtle little moments :bloblove::bloblove: And Wei Ying's face when he sees them :blobmelt: I read a little on the lotus pod extra but got distracted :blobneutral: But i did manage to read the ending and awww Lan Zhan going in the rain so far away from home just to get some lotus seed pods because of Wei Ying... :blobwoah:

According to fans the audio drama is the adaption most faithful to the novel. I only heard like 3 episodes but i do know they did the kiss scene and hearing it made me kinda embarrassed hahaha

Agree, i'm so glad to finally have censorship off our backs :sweating_profusely: The more popular it got the more worried i was getting but it finally aired so we're finally safe :blobparty::blobparty:

Btw i feel like i gave the harshest rating here even though i actually really like the drama :blobxd:

I think the Lotus Pier golden core confrontation might be my favorite scene from CQL...I didn’t know what JC was gonna say to rile WWX up but it was actually pretty scathing. and I definitely expect LWJ to cry that much welp...I was right there crying with him. there wasn’t much description of him during that scene in the novel, but in the drama it really showed how much it broke his heart to hear the truth. all 4 actors did really well
(my only gripe is they had LWJ dragged WWX out to the boat lol, like that would have been the best time for a piggyback scene. and Yibo wouldn’t have to hold it for long either, they just need a few shots. oh well)

Yeah, that whole scene where they were investigating in the woods/forest (however you perceived it) is all filler. I would agree that Episode 2 is indeed a filler episode there :/ Like I don't have anything against those scenes since some of them were good, but at the same time, I'm just upset that I know it's only 8 episodes, but they're not really using this time wisely (ahaha!) :blobsweat:

Episode 4 where is pretty much a filler episode where Wei Ying and Jin Ling scenes ~ Even when I do like it, but ....... just 4 more episodes ..... :blob_teary: Is the plot going to even progress? At this rate, how many seasons do we need before the story actually kicks in? :blob_teary:

Me too! :aww: You don't know how many times I fangirl when the Yiling Patriarch (Wei Ying) was using his demonic cultivation powers!! :blobnosebleed::blobnosebleed: This is one thing I love how they handle Wei Ying in the Donghua compared to CQL, since CQL they really tamed down his powers... :blobconfounded:

I hope not, I want to see more of these two on my end, off-screen! They are pretty much clowns to the entire cast xDDD :blobrofl::blobrofl::blobrofl: I love how they are off-screen because yes, it shows how close/comfortable for them to open up like this with each other IRL :blobicecreamlove: I hope that they will continue to be like close friends IRL, no matter how many years pass :aww:

Yeah, CQL really need to rely on these subtle moments to show their love, since they can't go explicit sadly, but we know that CQL Wangxian is more than just friends :bloblove: Even Tencent ships them (LOL) with all these MV's/FMV, yesterday they uploaded a FMV on Youtube compiling all the classic Wangxian moments xD LOL  I love Tencent for shipping them/showing support for Wangxian :blobicecreamlove:

And yeah, that Lotus Pod Extra is so damn sweet! :bloblove: Even when I didn't follow the Audio Drama (at the moment), but I did listen to that episode, and I just have so much feels, like how that old lady was saying that Lotus Seed tastes the same whether they have the stems attached or not, but Lan Zhan, stubbornly believed in what Wei Ying told him that the one with the stems attached tastes better, and in the Audio Drama, there was that background music, and I'm just touched :bloblove::bloblove: That chapter is just the same, I love how Lan Zhan believes in what Wei Ying said on his end, and he even reckons what Wei Ying said is true, after trying, he's so in love with him, I swear! :bloblove:

I think it's not surprising when it comes to Lan Zhan going out of his way to Yunment to try those Lotus Seeds, because he wants to experience what Wei Ying experience and try for himself, because it's the only way he know how to connect with Wei Ying there, and I love that :blobicecreamlove:

This is also how he know that the lake that have these Lotus Seed have owners xD, remember after the whole GC reveal? Wei Ying picked those Lotus Seeds and Lan Zhan was telling him that these actually belongs to someone? It really just brings you back, doesn't it? :bloblove:

Yeah, I heard the Audio Drama is the most faithful to the novel, so hooray for that! :bloblove: Despite I'm not following, but I have already watched that 'kiss' episode :blobnosebleed::blobnosebleed: I am thankful I have my head phones on :blobnosebleed::blobnosebleed:

I'm the same too, I was angsting with how popular it got, because I didn't want it to catch unnecessary attention, but in the end, I'm glad to see this drama to the end, and it got aired successfully, despite the whole drama that happened :sweating_profusely:

By the way, I'm not sure about Douban ratings, but apparently in MyDramalist, The Untamed is rated 9.2 something, and that's just wow! :aww: Reading others reviews is also amusing hehe :blobsweat:

That's literally like one of my favourite moments in the drama!! <3 I will definitely watch that over and over again, because the feels, it's just so good. I love how the actors did well in that whole scene <3

And yeah, I never understand how Yibo could really dragged WWX to the boat, because it doesn't seem realistic to me XDD Oh well, a piggyback would be nice, but I guess that's too much to ask from Yibo :blobjoy: In the novel, I believe Lan Zhan piggyback Wei Ying ~
