I stopped reading a week or two ago because I knew this next arc is a long one so I wanted to stockpile chapters and didn't plan to check the site until the end of October. Good thing curiosity got the better of me today and I saw the announcement. It would've sucked if I saw it in November hahaha.

I don't recommend anyone read MTL because it's stuck at 397 with no hope of more chapters any time soon, so if you read it you'll have to wait probably a whole year to find out what happens next.

Same issue here. Does this have anything to do with the site rework? I just started reading this (about 30 chapters in) and it would suck to wait 2 months before I get a chance to start reading again.

 

since they are updating the website, it could be just temporary downtime for a day or two... or according to their web site building schedule, a week or two...

 

They also only had a legal license from the Korean publishers to host through September 30th. They may have taken the chapters down as a sign of good faith during negotiations.

 

I think we all knew what happened the last time this was done. Just hope it's not a repeat.

 

Spoiler: About his ex, Yuhui and Luxuria read at your own risk

Seo Yuhui is a woman who's really close to Seol back from his first life(which explains why Seol having nostalgia whenever they meet). After Seol died as seen in the prologue she sent her feelings/memories back to the past.

His gf, Seonwha is an OP spear user and the "only" level 8 earthling mentioned by Yuhui in the English translations. She taught Seol about spears in his first life and the one who killed everyone in the 4th Banquet, battle royale. She has an artifact that changes her appearance so she appears as male in paradise.

The one Seol saw when he was a kid was the Goddess Luxuria which makes sense since she knew about his eye powers describing it as 7 shades of rainbow. She's always been a supporter of Seol. Spear of Nemesis was Seol's class name granted by Lux after he turned level 5. Gula and Luxuria often would have catfight over the rights of Seol's class name

 

That's one heavy spoiler alright. Though if everybody is brave enough to read it all those quarrel about seo yuhui being seol's gf will be solved.

Because of MTL being unclear, I thought Seonhwa appeared as a woman? I was under the impression that other legendary lv.7 spearman, who Seol reminds everyone of, wanting her and Yuhui in his harem and in order to bait him Seonhwa openly called Seol her boyfriend in front of him.

why does this always seem to happen? like every time there's a novel that wants to be officially translated, the translator of said novel leaves the place they where at to go and do their own shit, which later on turns out to not be so profitable and therefore abandons the novel.....

Getting real tired of shit like this.

 

heyo, if you havent noticed it, alot of korean novels are currently on hold due to licensing issues, not just limited to SCOG, novels like Omniscient Reader have been put on hiatus until the licensing issue is sorted, sorry for the wait

 

Translator isnt going off to do something new... sounds like translator wants to cut out the middle man (PN) and do the translation directly with the Korean publisher.

I mean, well, I always had a sneaking suspicion that they chose SCOG to licence simply because of its popularity when I was TLing it.
