Ya, as the title says, just wondering if you guys think this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078DPCY3...colid=RCELWSOSBAHM&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it will drop in price come Cyber Monday or if I should grab it now. My laptop has run out of storage ( previously a 500 gb) and since I only really use it for misc stuff like movies, novels, otaku stuff etc, 1tb is more than enough for my needs.

If it is not your primary drive maybe you should get a 2.5 hard drive instead since it will be will be cheaper. Unless you just want that fast access for your "movies" ...
I would get an external hd instead as mentioned, I've seen 5th hd going for 90 bucks. If you only need a little more, 256gb flash drives can be gotten for 30 bucks. I would waste money on a 2.5 inch ssd when nvme or m.2 is the way forward. Not to mention I've seen 1tb ssd going cheaper For example, 1tb nvme for 83 bucks: (if your pc can accept nvme) https://www.newegg.com/intel-660p-series-1tb/p/N82E16820167462?Item=N82E16820167462 If you really need a 2.5 inch form factor and dont care if its slower ssd. 87 bucks; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1448944-REG/samsung_mz_76q1t0b_am_1tb_860_qvo_sata.html
It's mainly just due to ease of installation + speed + reliability. I mean,2tb 7200 rpm HDD for $50 sounds nice, but for $50-60 more I can have a far superior product with its only drawback being storage space.
Oh...but who’d pay to buy @lychee ? She’ll make a poll about the perfect buyer, things to look for related to consumer satisfaction, etc.
