So Winter 2020 season is upon us with the first release of the season being listed on 3 jan. Let's discuss the shows that caught your eye, are on your watch list, the overall season etc. Here is the list of animes that are to be aired this season - https://myanimelist.net/anime/season/2020/winter Personally, the only show I care about this season is Railgun. And by care I mean I am realllllllllllly looking forward to. Misaka Mikoto is the best! I honestly hope that JC Staff does not do a shit adaptation and give us a great season unlike their current record. I swear I am gonna cry if they mess this one up ;-; The good thing is that other then Railgun, nothing else seems to scream "awesome" to me. This nice break would totally help me catch up a bit with my to watch list. I might check Runaway de Waratte just to see if there is any really good looking char or fashion or something. So which shows are you planning on watching? Edit: Say which series you are voting for if you are voting others. Nuf only allows this many options in the poll
The only show that has me really excited is Darwin's Game. Infinite Dendrogram might be nice - I've tried the manga, but the art is hard to follow
Maybe goblin slauer movie and kyochou movie. Otherwise im not too interested in any of them, unless someone can convinve me im missing out on something good. Im not too familiar with any of them except railgun and im lukewarm to that series anime.
The ones that I anticipate the most are Quartet and Dendrogram. The studio for Dendrogram is really putting a lot of work into this, on the YouTube Account they have been releasing short info videos about Dendrogram so that they can concentrate more on the story. Link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAS8EEv9AnykcnHujlddLZw/videos?disable_polymer=1 all japanese naturally. Plus judging from the characters announced this might go till volume 5 which is the BIG finale of the first part of the Story. And as a guilty pleasure Nekopara.
Darwin's game seems to me like another edgy "Mirai Nikki"-esque cliche battle royale anime. Any reason why you are so excited for it? Well I would atleast say to give Railgun a try. As long as JC Staff does not fuck up really hard, it is gonna be an awesome season. Seeing how three guys are rooting for dendogram in the first four posts, I will check it out. Nekopara is everyone's guilty pleasure. It is just that no one wants to admit to watching it.
Somali Itai Dendogram Plunderer Reviewers Hanako This ones. Not too hyped on the other ones. Darwins game if i get bored.
Honestly, i think JC Staff seems to do a generally better job on Railgun than index anyway. For me, Railgun's a definite (also hoping for a simuldub but i doubt we'll be that lucky) as is Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. Likely watch: Magia Record Maybe: Koisuru Asteroid, Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu This season is kinda light on interesting shows though im not surprised considering next season (spring) is jam-packed with a ton of shows.
I hope the anime adaptation of 'Plunderer' doesn't get ruined like what happened with other good mangas , and hope isekai quartet 2nd season is a good or better than first season
I truly hope. Oregairu, Kaguya sama, Re:zero and Bakarina. Jam packed is an understatement. I just realized that the author is the one behind Sora no Otoshimono.... HOLY FUCK. Okay I will have to give this a watch just out of pure respect for Heaven's lost property. Truth has been spoken. Yeah this season is pretty light on big releases, still did nothing catch your fancy that you might watch an episode on before the reviews come in? That's a long list considering how light this season feels.
I am really looking forward to Darwin's game and Infinite Dendrogram as I follow the manga/web novel. Also Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shitemita because I read its manga and kinda liked it.
I've been following the manga for years. I recommend giving the Darwin's Game manga a shot if you've never read it. I can't address your "Mirai Nikki"-esque comment as I do not quite understand what you mean by that. But part of what I really like about Darwin's Game is they rise as Spoiler a clan rather than individuals. And the author didn't drag out the initial point-gathering aspect of the survival game.
Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! It's surprisingly good. It has a feel like Hisone to Masotan (I'll wait until April to binge watch it in one go.) Somali to Mori no Kamisama: It's super cute, 'nuff said. This two are the ones I will be definitely be watching. There are some others that I will most likely watched like Haikyuu, Dorohedoro, Railgun, ID Invaded... but that depends on the next couple of episodes.
The worst winter ever. No one punch man, no overlord, no mob psy... Nothing I find interesting. Hmmm, why there is a hentai series listing with other anime
