Did the novel git gud or still repitive and shtty? All I know that is good bout the whole thing was the earlier parts but beyond that was just recycled plot and how author shoves the plot armor right up your face and details that could be skimmed through because of its unnecessaryNESS like "profound and profound" and "*chapter boss* couldn't/wouldn't do this and that because of this or that" I would like to know. Right about ch 1120+ where I dropped it
Has YC actually gone dark? Or “dark” with an asterisk of *may or may not actually be accurate? I think I had skimmed the chapter or two where he snapped and he definitely went off the deep end, but from what’s been said in this thread it’s been a largely minor change from how he was before after the initial fall
He wants to destroy every upper star realm in the 3 Divine territories and maybe the entirety of the 3 territories except for some special places
So...not really much has changed? This is hardly his first “burn and destroy everything” type mood/plan even before any devil/ negative influence from the devil origin orb/ darkness seed-the whole thing with the poison pearl in his second life and going on constant revenge attacks, and him massacring the burning heaven clan early in the story. Only difference i can really see this time is the scale of his target, he’s already been perfectly willing to massacre innocents or people merely guilty by association if they get in his way or are at the wrong place at the wrong time
It’s not gonna happen. Mars’ novels go like this; saint, demon then evil. Saint is a good guy, what he been trying to do prior to the Devil YC arc. Demon is wanting all those who cross him dead completely. Evil is against the heavens. So he’s gonna start the war and shits gonna hit the wall and it’s time save the universe and become the strongest
I see. I've been wanting to get into the novel lately, but just about where I stopped was the part where he goes to another portal (something of the kind) which was the same way back, so I got irritated and bored cause it seems to me that is just getting repititive... BUT seeing this I got this little spark to reading it again cuz urghhh I've been dying for character development ffs he was just so stale the whole time, I really wanted one of his family member to die making him evil overall cause come on caring about this and that and having sons and proceeding to another realm whilst having the same plot and character is Boring As double Cheese so I gave up... But.... It looks to me that it is proceeding to what I've been wanting for the longest time, so I might actually want to read it again, thanks for that.
Some people don't like his new personality. Some do. I don't really care. He is still sort of softie at heart unless of course you are a dragon or from eternal heaven in which case....sayonara.
