If I removed pride, what would happen to our confidence/truth?
If I removed wrath, what would happen to our justice/righteousness?
if I removed lust, what would happen to our passions/love?
If I removed greed, what would happen to our needs/longing?
If I removed gluttony, what would happen to our hunger/thirst?
If I removed envy, what would happen to our security/fear?
If I removed sloth, what would happen to our fulfillment/balance?

I wonder... if we will all go insane or die outright from insanity? Just thinking about it makes me chuckle~

IMO, sins are excesses; if we removed them, we'd hv utopia... a sterile utopia, that is.

Lose sin, and we lose humanity along with it.
Wonder what a world like that would be like, tbh

That's a lot of face value talk mate, in fact, in most cases, excess of what you have leads to what you have on the left, and by moral* standards, they usually have a negative outcome

Edit: Concerning the Utopia argument... man I've had this so many times I've lost count; a 'sterile' utopia would be in many way better than our current society(? ha...), it may sound like megalomaniac talk but, a world without hunger, suffering, depression? and only for the price of taking away humans' most excess of traits? sign me the fuck up please

If you removed pride and wrath most CN xia novels would be 5 chapters long
If you removed lust most JP shonen novels wouldn't have any female character anymore
If you removed gluttony all JP isekai stories writers wouldn't know what to write about
If you removed greed there would be no KR novel anymore

If you removed envy and sloth there would be nobody left to read webnovels.

The Sins aren't common, mild character traits that define everyday human life. Like @otaku31 put it, they're excess. Trimming them out wouldn't really change life at all for most people, at most just removing their most distasteful aspects.

It's easy to misunderstand them, I guess. To look at, say, Wrath and go "well, that means all anger has to go." Or to look at Pride and see a requirement for absolute humility and the absence of self-confidence. To look at Greed and say it's wrong to ever want anything, or Lust and think it's wrong to be sexually attracted to someone. But that's not what the Sins represent, at all!

That's not to say the Sins can't be subtle, of course. But they are an excess. An extreme.

If you removed wrath, then everyone can enjoy WN without any dissatisfaction(no more complaining about JP Beta, CN rape, or KR lust for money)
CN novels aren't that wrathful, they are just arrogant bunch so only pride

Sin is a meaningless concept. Sin is brought up most often in relation to religions but guess what none of them truely have an issue if those sins are committed in their names ie it justifiable which is a load of shit you know it I know it they know its. It's about control and that's it.

Remove Sins, and you remove desires. Humanity without desires is... well... pitiful, i guess. No progress, no change, no emotions, no evolution. Pretty much on the road to extinction.
(just remembered the plot of Tales of Berseria while reading through this post)

Lust, Greed, Gluttony and Sloth, are the "sins" of foresight... They are what makes you take advantage of your opportunities when you have them, in recognition of the fact that you may not have such opportunities in the future, and may have to make do with what you've accumulated... While Envy is the "sin" of recoqnizing inequalities... does anyone ever envy others for being worse off after all... and Pride and Wrath are the "sins" of recognizing your own value and not turning the other cheek and allowing yourself to be robbed and exploited without consequence... Soo... They aren't really sins... more like virtues...
