CLICKBAIT!!! Or not, just some stories compiled to alleviate the mood during this crisis period.

This is the kind of story we need right now.

Well, it is generally good news, but I was hoping it was news about progress with dealing with the virus.

    What is even 'good' news?

Citizens doing what should have been the goverment's job?

Or, old people surviving a disease that their goverment could have prevented / prepared for months ago?

Good news is the western world might die off because they believe freedom and human rights is more important than staying home for 2 weeks.
Can't wait for this to never end in the west (because that's the way it's going

Proud of yourself much? Real nice, hoping for the deaths of hundreds of millions because of a small collection of assholes (excluding those of us being smart and safe while working still.)

it's actually a bigger collection of assholes.
and i'm not proud of myself, I'm proud of the people for being selfish enough to let others die. West had 2 months of advance to prepare. But hey.. freedom beats discipline eh?

While it's good to think that these douchebags will die out of natural selection, but the thing is, most of them don't.

What's worse is these Karens and arsebags just do what they want to, and also purposely infecting(already in bioterrorism area) innocent frontliners who will do their jobs whether they like it or not since it's mandatory. Most of the frontliners in the west die because some karens didn't get the memo.

Again, you're acting like all of the west is somehow responsible for this. I'm not arguing there were assholes that made the situation worse, but fuck you for thinking it's okay for everyone else to die because of it.

my mom is a nurse in the only hospital in my city. and has been pulled from her post to work in ER.
So I'm well aware of the situation from the inside as well. chances are she is going to gt infected is 90% and die because of her disease history is 50%.
    all because idiots exist.

but i still stand behind my opinion. the more die the better. freedom breeds ignorance

You seem to have alot of issues with freedom, lmfao. What a joke. Hope your mom doesn't die but, based on your attitude, Karma's a bitch and she swings fast and hard.

Does the new FDA approved coronavirus test count?

So just for those who don’t know, on Monday, this drug company (I forgot the name. Eh, I’ll dig it out if someone wants it) got FDA approval for a new, 100% accurate, get your results in 2 hours, test that does not need specialized machinery. AKA, it works with nearly every single blood testing machine on the market. So now, if someone has suspicions, they can get their results within 2 hours (instead of weeks) and have less chances of spreading the virus.

    That’s something, isn’t it?

BTW, their stocks are rising fast. Started out 7$ a share, and experts predict it’ll settle at around 40$.

Why not look towards how the Chinese government couldn't regulate and put basic health and safety practices before complaining on how people underestimate or have a complete lack of knowledge

Many progress actually. Early stage treatment and medication has established, the disease early stage symptoms and interaction within the body are learned. Typically an infected patient become active carrier within 3~5 days where the virus proliferated in the upper respiratory tract, symptoms including lost of sense of smell. Then by 14th days the autoimmune would be already active and attacking the virus in the upper respiratory system where it then already moving deeper into the lungs. Past 14th days the patient should have shown damage in the lungs from infections and it could drastically worsened due to cytokin storms an autoimmune response that went berserk. The infectivity of the virus actually are the highest during it's early stage where it still in the upper respiratory system where the cells are constantly shed during sneezing, coughing, or simple breathing.
