That is BS. You have a white racist in a MAGA hat but everything's fine because he hugged a black guy??? He's still a racist. The black guy is still largely right. And you can bet your ass a real MAGA guy would at best walk out thinking, "that black guy was okay, but the rest...." The lyrics are on the same level as the white family from Get Out saying "We voted for Obama."

And simply saying "both [sides] are wrong" is exactly like saying, "All Lives Matter!"

First of all racism is everywhere.
Sad thing is that there is no race inside our species we are 99.9% the same there is no master "race" nor inferior one (but there are stupid people though), it is a scientific fact. Unfortunately, on a social aspect humans like to fit in groups that we identify as closer to us (based on shared physical trait cultural basis, social standing...) which causes us to always come back to the race issue and unfortunately for some the rejection of those who do not fit the group. Races are non existant (scientifically speaking) yet they remain one of our core issue.

 

Maybe I am? I kinda dislike humans in general. Though I am talking to people on the internet. I prefer spending time with my pets or animals in general.

 

I mean the problem is the color, just ignore the color.

What if I just hate people who I don't like, am I still a racist?

 

I know that I have biases, but I would hope that no one would consider me racist. I got a good luck at my own racist ideology years back and I have tried to better myself every day so that I don't see people as something other just because of a superficial difference like skin color. It still sickens me that I would use that "I'm not racist" BS before I faced the truth of myself, and I am just glad that I was confronted with my bigotry before I did something stupid.

I've seen that video a few times and I love it. It shows the ignorance that far to many people have and the anger that it can invoke in those that are targeted by that ignorance. It is just to bad that many who should watch this won't, and that even if they did they wouldn't understand it.

 

I feel like the best solution to this would be the extermination of the human species.
Not going to happen, but still the best solution.

Racism happens everyday my friends it’s exist almost nearly everything in you and me daily lives. I believed that racism exist in the depth of everyone’s hearts it’s really up to you to dig up and let that thing spread imo

 

America doesn't get more attention, America gives itself more attention. Almost every American meme on issues pretends that there's no history outside of America. Even the covid19 memes I see from American friends pretend that covid19 somehow acts differently in the US than the rest of the world.

Its really hard to discard the bigoted views you were born into or you were raised with. You should be proud that you were able to confront those views and change them.
