For a vengeful cat, I am amazed she not written to scratch that girls face. Getting stomped on is no joke. Glad jade and potato got their priorities but what about the space fairy? I'm sure that fairy would've gone nuts too.

She can't leave her domain. And Ruri is too injured to do anything let alone scratch someone. Cat! Ruri is quite small, evenfor a cat

Not quite. Each of them have aspects they control, like kotaro being the steongest wind fairy, rin(?) being the strongest water fairy, etc. I guess power =authority in fairies as weaker ones obey stronger fairies. Besides lydia has no need to do anything since kotaro already did all the work anyways

Your questioned has already been answered but additional/extra points I'll have to add is that (if my memory is right), her charm ability got sealed/wore off. When the war against the human nation ended, Asahi and her followers were considered as prisoners of war and with the little mercy given to them (since they were merely brought to this world against their will and have no other means to go back), were sent to a small rural village to work. Since Asahi's ability wore off, these kids finally noticed her ignorance and spoiled actions (My apologies since my memory is sh*tty but I think MC got to finally slap Asahi before they were sent off saying something like, "Because of your ignorance, this led to war when you could've used your ability to do better" or something like that. The war basically revealed why in that nation, there were already barely any faeries before MC came along because the kingdom was using faeries as power sources of some sort. Basically, they acquired fairy killing tools. One of them was a rock/marble like object that absorbs magic and when thrown, explodes. Don't worry, while extremely dangerous, because MC separated Koutarou and Rui, Koutarou was strong enough to hold on and come near to the lab so MC was able to throw said fairy killing tools to another dimension, and Rui ends up as a big support to the dragons during the war despite of the fairy killing tools. Forgot what she did but she did contribute big time) and barely helped her since they were trying to survive too. Asahi finally got to experience work and was complaining but only got cold looks.

Since this was already translated, the next arc/b*tch is then a fellow cherished one from another human country. She was originally an orphan who was often seen talking to herself until it was found out she was a cherished one. But despite her semi humble beginnings, because of how she was treated as a cherished one by another human nation (basically letting her do/have anything she wants), she was spoiled rotten. Said new b*tch had an attempted assassination by most likely the big bad of this series (cultists. The term the author uses is Shinto, yes, the same religion as Shinto. I forgot what it is they specifically do but one of their main beliefs is that they do not believe in the power of Cherished ones so they try to kill them). Two Cherished ones are targetted, the new b*tch and the cherished one of the beast kingdom (not a b*tch but is so in love with Jade that she went to the dragon kingdom not just for protection but to measure MC just so she's worthy of Jade. So far, hasn't done anything against MC. One of the reasons she hasn't done anything to MC is because the Beast kingdom are heavily religious to spirits, herself included and Ruri overpowers them both since she has 3 (at that point) great spirits (Wind-Koutarou, Water-Rui, and Earth-whose name escapes me at the moment, said great earth spirit went to meet Rui because Lydia told him she found a new master and so like Lydia, so long as the new master is interesting, he'll form a contract. Btw, the great fire was mentioned once but is said to be a womanizing like spirit, so MC is hesitant to form a contract). Back to the b*tch, both cherished ones are sent to the Dragon Kingdom since they have better powers and security. B*tch is swooned by how attractive and rich the dragonkin are and compare them to her male escorts and proudly claims she'll be this kingdom's cherished ones and her former kingdom can have MC for all she cares. MC is away taking a break at that point and is forcefully called because of both the assassination attempts and the b*tch was just causing everyone a headache, Jade included since he caught her eye. Don't worry, no misunderstandings that cause conflict to the ship. It is finally explained that its best if two cherished ones don't meet face to face, they physically could but diplomatically, better not since a fight between them is a fight between spirits. The spoiled CO vs. the overly religious CO come in conflict when spoiled CO is causing trouble to Jade/host country so religious CO can't turn a blind eye. Both "fight" with the winner decided by who has the more spirits. Religious CO loses but MC intervenes before it gets even bigger, MC wins at BOTH sides because of said great spirits. A few things happen, Jade is comforted from the stress. Forgot most of what happened afterwards but the b*tch ends up LOSING her cherished one status when she injures MC (forgot if it was her human or cat form) with her heels. Koutarou is PISSED and nearly kills her but is stopped by MC but Koutarou uses his authority that any spirit that helps spoiled CO will be dealt with/punished severely.

Like you said, revenge is one of her purpose but reading the title also mentions her lazying around Jade's lap. The series is mostly slice of life with a little bit of an odd/dark plot undertones self insert if the plot DOES get serious, but most of the time its just fluff and SOL.
    Dark undertones being
1st arc - unintended charm and brainwashing from her friend (during the human nation war arc, most MC does against Asahi was complain about her. Justified too since the manga already kinda showed it since Asahi basically ignores everything else). If you've read the spoilers above, after the human war arc is over, she does get to slap Asahi on the face and get to tell her off with her ignorance going too far that she's been used by the human nation. Her "followers" ended up being cured from being charmed/Asahi's ability just wore off. But sadly, there was no way for them to go back home, and these HS kids ended up as prisoners of war. One small act of mercy given to them, including Asahi was to send them in a small rural village owned by the Dragon Kingdom to have them work their fill. They can have food, water, and shelter so long as they do farm work. Asahi initially complains because her ability no longer works and got cold stares instead and reality finally strikes her. We never see them again.
Next arc- again, this is already translated so I'll just summarize. Minor antagonist is another selfish cherished one (details above) which ended up with her losing her status
Next arc- because the dragon kingdom was infiltrated despite their security (using the same transformation bracelets as MC. Not as great as her cat tranformation which had unlimited use and no time limits, the cultists had a rat transformation with a limited number of usage. MC ends up kidnapped, nearly dies via drowning *she was thrown out to sea*, thankfully her newly contracted great earth spirit Kai saw her kidnapping but was unaware it was MC and took interest *Kai is the type that basically does anything that interests him. He contracts with MC because she's currently the most interesting Cherished one so far, he was originally intending to switch contracts with either the spoiled or overly religious cherished one but they bore him so he stayed with MC*, it took a while to realize where MC was because the cultists were using fairy killing tools, the same tools used during the war, so the fairies could not sense her or the mana around her but because Kai physically saw the incident he was able to intervene and save her. The culprits are eventually caught, with one of them being a little kid of the dragon kingdom who basically just wants MC dead simply because the cultists told said kid if they kill MC, cultists can bring his dead parents back to life. MC is appalled but can't hate the kid because he's literally being used and attempts to use our justice system to spare him and negotiates with Jade, claiming he's too young to be punished and again he's being used (again, his crime is harming even attempted harm against a Cherished one, to other kingdoms, it leads to death. To dragon kingdom, I forgot if its possible for life imprisonment because MC is literally their 2nd Cherished one compared to other nations who had multiple ones already, so they're not as strict), and even one of the dragonkin end up missing (initially suspected as a traitor but it was revealed said minor dragonkin was kidnapped).
Enter beast kingdom arc. MC is sent there alongside Joshua and Fin's (head of the dragon knights. 2nd strongest dragon after jade if I remember it right) younger brother/the brocon whose name escapes me at the moment.
Follow up on the cultists antagonist, shenanigans happen. MC enjoys the middle eastern vibe (especially the baths. You know the Japs and their pride on baths in fiction?) but back to the plot, they found a clue on the cultists, their main purpose is to bring more members using the same excuse they gave to the kid, they could bring the dead back to life. This arc introduces the special healing properties of dragon blood and how precious they are but the method of producing such an all cure is strictly confidential. Basically, one small subplot has MC use the dragon blood MC on a pitiful family on the beast kingdom, Joshua doesn't stop her because he wants her to learn firsthand to learn from her mistake (not giving said blood to anyone even if in the end they got info on the cultists), said family promised not to tell and they did but naturally since it was well known how injured their family member was, and that in order to get them cured, they were last seen attacking one of the dragonkin that was protecting MC (brocon) so naturally MC learns from her mistake but Joshua admits he's also using this to their advantage (using the beast people desperate for the cure to lure out the cultists). Basically, the cultists' plot on the beast kingdom is revealed to be them causing trouble in villages near a volcano. One said village is said to have died from a plague but miraculously everyone was brought back to life. It is revealed the villagers ended up becoming zombies (revealed later to be using an imperfect formula of the dragon blood elixir), and witnesses basically just die because there was a barrier set up on that village that prevents anyone from leaving so, they saw corpses moving, went to check/verify but never got to leave the village. Back to the main plot, they used the citizens of the beast kingdom, and the Great Fire Spirit is introduced (he was napping for years on the volcano but the cultists interrupted his nap so he asks for the cast to stop the cultists. He knows they exist but he doesn't know where because of the same fairy killing tools to hide their presence). He has a human form (his animal form is something similar to a penguin) and is a huge womanizer but he isn't attracted to MC but basically goes after any other woman, young or old (according to the narration). The only reason he isn't attracted to MC is because of MCs lack of chest size or at least its implied to, so he only listens to the Cherished one of the beast kingdom (but he doesn't form a contract with her nor did the cherished one ended up antagonistic with MC. She only hopes she can finally move on from Jade but finds it very difficult since its a love for a few years now). I actually kinda hate the great Fire (MC temporarily nicknames him, no contract, Hi-sama) because he's too arrogant and voluntarily sent MC to danger by making her zombie bait (giving MC zombie PTSD), she was used as bait because they needed someone to be drenched with blood (zombies reacted by blood) and he pushed her in her cat form on top of a tree, got drenched with blood and got chased until she manages to collect an entire areas worth of zombies while being chased in her cat form. The 3 great spirits MC is contracted with can't do a thing because they're the same rank or at least setting wise, the great fire overpowers them since they're close to a volcano. Basically said arc captures the rest of the cultists, the kidnapped dragonkin is saved, and Jade brings MC home to prepare for their wedding. The great fire tags along because he's now bored with beast kingdom women and now want to conquer dragonkin women. MC casually mentions it was the worst mistake to bring him home with her (in the upcoming arc, Vol.3, no translations yet. But its implied the conflict will relate to MCs family who decides to move to the other world permanently to stay with MC, the conflict will most likely involve her mother who MC admits is quite the beauty to the fire spirit. Random last add-on, MC, her mother, and maternal grandfather are cherished ones. So, you probably have a new idea to the next conflict. MCs father is alive and chooses to be with his wife and abandons his career and the old world btw)

Ah, the endgame villain this time is being hinted to be witches (the same witches who made MCs bracelet and gave the formula to dragonblood elixirs and not the cultists)

So almost every other cherished one besides the MC is a bitch/evil

    Yeah, figures.

Mc Chan has to he the only super speshul good one

wtf some of the punishments are overkill considering there teens who were basically brainwashed

Oh you were acting agaisnt your will? Well your basically slaves now? And MC can argue for a boy who tried to kill her but she dosent think to get lecnicney for her classmates who were being charmed by Asahi, which she was fully aware of? Real bitch move tbh.

Are we sure that it was charms that made humans om earth avoid her or did people sense her bitchniess

What an awful MC. We sure shes not psychotic?

I hope the villains win. MC is really unlikable

What is up with these cunty MCs were supposed to be root for but in real life wed probably hate?

Not really. The Beast Kingdom CO does love Jade and does admit to MC during their co drunken rampage girl talk that she's willing to TRY moving on and HOPING a decent man swoops her off her feet. Plus, she's semi aware of the Dragon's notable trait in monogamy, MC already inherited Jade's jewel heart (a literal jewel in the shape of a heart? Don't remember) so naturally, she's also aware Jade already made his choice and was just TRYING to find SOME way/excuse to still have a second chance but ofc pfft. fails. Again, she admits its really tough to move on because its a love that was there FOR YEARS and she practically abused her authority as a CO to make sure no other woman comes close to Jade (closest spiteful thing she ever did/admitted) but she certainly didn't expect the woman who DID beat her ended up being a CO as well (who practically outranks her too given MC has 3-4 great spirits *wind, time, water, and earth* contracted to her and she has none)

she was the antagonist and frustrated Ruri

TBH I couldn't stand her but I thought life imprisonment for e and her followers was insane. She had no idea what she was doing and the followers weren't in their right minds

Just because she was an idiot doesn't exempt her from punishment. She and he cronies get to live and that's the best outcome. Otherwise it could've gone alot darker where they would've been executed or used as an example. Although, her cronies were love struck by her magic, they did try to kill ruri beyond what the idiot wanted.

As what has already been spoiled or released, they didn't end up in life imprisonment, but they DID end up as war prisoners. I dunno what stand whether or not to feel sorry for Asahi's followers (who had an excuse of being charmed), the biggest punishment for them is the fact they have no means of going home/back to Japan, the method of summoning otherworlders is a one way trip, and as I've mentioned here, even Ruri's father was ready to prep himself and quit his job as a high ranking diplomat to follow his wife and in-laws to be with his daughter. Back to Asahi's followers, if we consider the fact that the punishment they were given is simply following the rules of the world/war, then that's all it really is to it (world building wise, they did brought harm to Ruri, and depending on the country in charge, like say the Beast Kingdom, its off with their heads for harming a CO, but with the little luck they have left and the Dragon Kingdom's consideration, they were at least sent to a faraway rural dragon village where they'll have to live a farmer's life. The teenager's get food, water, and shelter so long as they work hard
