Question Is Legendary Moonlight Sculpture worth it.

He gets hate because of two reasons, he is brutally honest of his opinions, and he hosts a site for translations that sometimes are just slightly better organized versions of mtl. For the latter, it's just as he said, he picks unknown or dropped novels. Honestly something worth respecting.


Neither point deserves hate, but it's the internet.

I admit that at the start I had issues with MTL because I am not a translator myself(I only speak English so I could not vet the translations)
but I can brag about the quality of all my current translations
Especially this one, I had a crap translator at the start back in 2017 but not even Wuxiaworld can claim to have a better translator

One question tho why is it that old novel doesn't show final or newest chapters for example ISSTH only have 100 chapters in NU so is renegade with 200 plus chapters and your nit the one that hosted TTNH are you?

 

It is not me. Chinese novels are pretty much taken over by registered companies like Wuxiaworld, Webnovel.com etc

The novels are only free for those chapters that you see.

Yeah, but Webnovel might be inflating the rankings. I have no proof but they do delete negative reviews.
MTL is more popular than you realize. Many are just well edited

If you had 25 years to stop a monster apocalypse, what do you do? FIRST use your training as a finance major to make a stupid amount of money. If you plan to really change the world to get ready for monster invasion, that’s a no brainer.

I've read it. It was kinda nice at first, but then it turns to shit :
-The same jokes used over and over again
-The antagonist "hermes guild" that really is at the level of a random "young master" in chinese level (meaning that they get offended for some REALLY petty shit)
-No character developpement

And that's personnal, but i have a lot of trouble taking seriously any events that happens in a virtual world and find the characters that take everything seriously cringy as hell.

You might want to check out "peerless white emperor", it's not great but it's miles ahead of legendary moonlight sculptors (even if it also fucking overuse the same jokes over and over again)
