No he is as evil as the freaking king, the reason why the queen became a shut in and caged was because of the lover, the blonde lover would seduce all the freaking dude around him... complain about about the queen, showed interest in the queens stuff and complain to the king so it would be given to him and because the king saw the queen in the garden while he was out with his lover the queen was not allowed out side and the king wanted a child looking like his lover so he had the lover raped the queen. Which is why the queen doesn’t act mother toward the child she is traumatized and the blonde piece of sh*t get everything he freaking wants. And the queen has know one by her side because everyone is either seduced or killed off because they didn’t greet the f**ker

 

What happens to the king and his evil male concubine? I hope the king and everyone finds out the blonde #(*5 was controlling them using black magic and gets killed and the king feeling freaking guilty with all the evil deeds he has done and goes crazy and kills himself that is the only ending they freaking deserves the child become the king and the MC helps him rule also him getting renamed as Eugene because that’s what the queen wanted..... but probably not still hope the king and concubine dies a painful and horrible death

 

Ewww what a fucker hope they die and end up in hell and I wanted the baby to live since he is the queen child but now knowing he is that piece of shit reincarnation I’m conflicted..... like the baby is innocent but his reincarnation counterpart is an evil hoe..... but I guess since the baby is a clone it doesn’t mean it is necessarily mean the baby is like the concubine so it’s fine and can someone arrest this pedo king ....

 

So this is all the spoiler I read so far so some might be wrong but just to clarify everything.... this belongs to everyone who posted up their spoilers I just put them in one place.... and some of it might be my interpretation of what is going on. I left out some details and kinda gotten to the main parts but add on if I missed anything....
Imma use Ash for Yoojin in Astrid body , and Astrid for the OG Astrid.

Spoiler: Mysteries unsolved and the King and Yurigel Deeds.

Yurigel is a Archmage (immortal) and to live forever they pass their heart to another body. Yurigel fell in love with a man but that man dies, broken-hearted he wanted to follow the man in death so I gues he used his magic to kill himself but meets King Evans who is the reincarnation of his old lover. He uses black magic so the king and the people around him (men) falls in love with him. But because he is dying because of the magic he used to kill himself, his body is rotting. So him and the king(currently lovestruck) comes up with a plan with the Queen’s maid to have the baby. The maid wanted wants best for the queen I guess she thought if the queen had the baby that helped the king achieve what he wanted he would treat the queen better (idk) but she helps the king and Yurigel. The King plan was to have the queen and Yurigel have a baby together (so the baby looks like Yurigel and is a part of him so the magic possession could work, so I guess the queen was raped...still the king is a sick creep) and with a magic circle sewn onto the sheet/fabric at the time of birth would caused the baby to be born without a soul(aka dead baby literally the magic would wipe out the baby soul) so Yurigel could use the baby dead body and placed in his soul. So the king and Yurigel love can last, before this, the king and Yurigel discuss how there plan might go wrong and the king ensures Yurigel everything will be fine and that he will get to see Yurigel in his younger years and grow up. The baby will become the kings lover later on( that is the reason why they named him Mikael that was Yurigel real full name) their plans go awry when the maid had her servant,Astrid, do the sewing of the magic circle. Astrid is bad at sewing so she accidentally poked her finger and got blood on the magic circle. So instead of the prince’s soul it was Astrid soul that was wiped out. In that second Yoojin then enters into Astrid body. The King brings Yurigel with him after the queens birth was because they were going to put Yurigel souls into the baby but they find out the baby has its soul so that’s the reason why the king left the queens room all angry in the beginning. The queen maid that was killed Was the one who helped the king with his plan, they thought the maid didn’t go through with the plan because she wanted the queen to have her child so they killed her. (Not sure if the maid knew the king whole plan she probably thought that the queen would be happier if she was the mother to the next heir which is why she agreed to help.)

Spoiler: The King and Yurigel Ending

So Yurigel tries again to be with the king longer, they tried to take the baby( prince Mikael) I guess for the possession and kills the Empire’s Prince (Something with dragon blood I guess their family was special) but their plan fails. Mio is stabbed in the chest in this process.... Klein has Yurigel tied up,he isn’t beautiful anymore because his body and face is rotting away, and reveals to everyone that Yurigel is the mastermind of everything and uses black magic. King Evans is revealed to know everything and sides with his concubine. The Empire’s king is enraged and demanded the king and concubine as their prisoners. King Evans is dethroned and was in chains with Yurigel who is dying and rotting away and handed over as prisoners ( I’m not sure if the king know he is in love due to the black magic but he knew of all of the evil plans)

Spoiler: Mio

The knight does not die he loses blood but lives. He helps Prince Mikael rule and is one of his aids, he also gets adopted into the Capella Family and becomes a Duke replacing Klein. He stays back in their world to be with Mikael and help him rule the kingdom.

Spoiler: Prince Mikael

Now King Mikael, is older and looking for potential wife as his queen. Both Ciel and Mio trieS to introduce him to the girls they brought which both resembled Ash in their opinion (lol) they argue and bicker like an old married couple. While Mikael ask his teacher Seiya what kind of person his nanny was (ash) and his teacher doesn’t know the prince says his type in a girl is long hair ( which is because Ash who took care of the prince when he was a baby had long hair that he would tug) this was about 23 years after Ash left back into her world Ciel was still in love with Ash after 20 years and was depressed so Mikael let him go since everything was under control..... Ciel goes to join ash in her world

Spoiler: The ending Ash, Klein, Ciel

Due to the surge of power from Yurigel killing the Empire’s prince it was enough to transport her back. She goes back to where she was when she was transported no time has passed her ramen was still hot. Klein jumped into the portal with her and her world with her.they kiss and he asked for her real name. Ciel shows up 4 months later (time runs different in real world and novel world for Ciel 20 years passed in her world it was only four months. He was immortal due to being an arch age so didn’t age much, he will now since their is no magic in the real world) Both of them proposed to her asking her to pick but I guess she picks both because they both loved her and dove into a new and unfamiliar world for her with no chance of going back.

Spoiler: Cesar

The queens downfall in the Original story was because of Cesar who hated her because of a horseback accident, but he loved the original Astrid.

Spoiler: Queen

The queen dies at the end, she dies when the prince is about 10yo but she loved to takes walks in the garden so her placed is decorated in flower after her death I guess that means in the end she was freed at least a little from her cage. Although she was still isolated, but content a better ending then what she had in the OG. She dies undisturbed and at peace, the prince also lays flowers at her tomb.

Bittersweet ending, more bitter than sweet but oh well. I hope they talked about the king and Yurigel ending more......well, my personal ending for them because it makes me feel better
Both the king and Yurigel is put into jail in the Empire’s dungeon. They are mistreated and starved for killing the prince. They had to stay in different cells apart and across from each other so they can see each other suffer and feel the pain of being worthless and powerless that they can’t do anything to help their lover. The king has to witness Yurigel dying and suffering. Yurigel dying a slow and painful death all ugly and rotting but before he Completely dies He had to witness the death of his beloved when they behead Evans. Yurigel dies shortly after wallowing in pain .Due to their evil deeds their souls are unable to be reincarnated so they will never be together again. They are buried separately in unmarked grave so their souls never get happiness as their punishment.

Okay, I really agree with what gumiho said about how people were making hasty conclusions about the tiny contextledd tidbits they were getting.

Thing is, plot points are like 20% of a good story. The author also works hard on exposition, world building, and other stuff like that. The fact that people wanted to drop it for a few plot points they didnt like is asinine to me and IMO, super disrespectful to the author who puts time and energy into writing, you know, the rest of the fucking story aside from the plot points you decided to judge the story on.

Duke first then Mage followed. She almost got the full harem ending but Mio grew old in the time he was looking after Prince Mikael (Baby). Everything about Mio is pretty sad TBH.

@DOHere didn't wanna quote everything in prev page so I'll answer some gripes about Mio through the current manhwa spoils X'D it seems there is a lot more to Yurigel's charm magic that really affects characters to the point they go completely against their natural will. The Queen actually has a guard (Sir Alex) who may as well be in love with her. It's to the point his heart aches when he sees her face now, as it reminds him of the smile she use to have when they were little children. For whatever reason Ash has read that he too is part of the fall-in-love-with-Yurigel crowd to the point Queen knows he cannot protect her from dangers. Please give poor Mio some slack eh QwQ

General summary since my last spoils from manhwa...

Spoiler: 31 - 36화 Herpderp

Ash tries to basically recruit Ciel so that Yurigel won't have a powerful mage ally. She uses the excuse of having been attacked by him in forcing him to talk with her (who needs an icebreaker when you have strangulation??) And they get around to talking about his ptsd. He sleeps in the Library because he doesn't have to feel alone. It seems he couldn't sleep otherwise so she suggests he come sleep in her room with Mio (...Ash's room is becoming an absolute clown house.) It seems to be working, and Ciel absolutely adores the prince and his joy is quite similar to the look Yurigel has when playing with the prince Ash thinks. Mio and Ciel bickers a lot (it seems this dynamic started early) but Ciel doesn't much want to leave the room it seems.

Ash is told stories about a ghost wandering about nest the cellars at night. Ciel tells her he doesn't detect anything but the sheer fact that ghosts exist in this world freaks her out.

Then one night she gets out for some air and remembers the stories and comes across the Queen who is wandering the hallways. It seems she might have been mistaken for a ghost. After talking some and escorting her to a hidden room, Ash finds out that Queen is trying to "find something" but doesn't know where or what the thing is. It's hard to tell if she is serious or just hiding what she is looking for, but Ash tells her they should go on a treasure hunt until she remembers. They do so, mostly it's them fooling around with all the storage stuff.

Eventually Queen tells her that she is looking for a way to the Basement. Ash asks her why she doesn't check near the Kitchen Cellars but apparently there is no way there. The basement she is looking for is deeper down the castle.

Before Ash could ask anything more, dawn has arrived. They return to their places.

Next morning after a short nap, Ash is dressed in a blanket for class. As Mio and Ciel wouldn't wake up that morning, Ash couldn't get changed. The prince puked on her shawl too so blanket it was. Seiya notices she is still wearing the ribbon he gave her and asks if he should have gotten her something better if she was going to wear it so consistently.

Ash asks him for blueprints of the Queen's Palace 'in case of emergency / fires' cus one doesn't know what would happen. He agrees to do what he can.

Ciel asks Ash if she always has lessons in the morning and tells her to end them. He'll teach her instead since it's getting in the way of his sleep.

After some banter she asks him if he knows of a way to get to the Basement as she thinks the ghost is in there. Ciel thinks about it, and tells her there was no way for her to get to the basement, as he can feel some sort of strong magic coming from beneath the palace. It seems one cannot enter without magic.

That evening...Ash dreams of the Queen calling to her and she wakes up. Heading out she meets the Queen who has a shawl for her. Supposedly she wasn't sure if she would see hee but was hoping to. They continue their treasure hunt, but before they do, the Queen's guard tries to interrupt them a second time saying it could be dangerous to wander about at night unattended. The Queen rebukes him, saying it's not as if he could do anything when she faces real dangers and tells him to stay put.

Ash recalls from the book that Sir Alex, the guard has known her since childhood, and always recalls her joyful smile from that time. She wonders how it is that someone who cherishes the queen to that extent could fall in love with Yurigel.

While searching the closed room Nanny was killed in, Ash asks the queen about herself. Rather than asking if she was having a difficult time, she asks if she was frightened at her wedding.

Queen it seems was engaged at 16. At the time she was young and didn't know any better. It was if anything a surprise to her that she was chosen to marry the King over her elder sister. In the end, the Elder sister was sent out into the Empire to marry the Emperor. The story of Evans being in love with Yurigel was spread through the country when she reached the age of 21 and for whatever reason absolutely everyone supported this affair. When she turned 24, she was married and brought to the palace as Queen.

Rather than her marriage, what she feared was not knowing, as the terrible things she does know she can handle. After her story, Ash says she is glad that at least she wasn't terrified at her wedding then.

As Queen turns to search, Ash tells her that she thinks they wouldn't be able to reach the basement, as they may need magic to do so. Queen starts mumbling about magic and how Nanny was a magician. She tells her it seems Ash wouldn't be able to bring them to the basement, neither the queen or Ash. (She's sooo cryptic)

Ash thinks at this moment she figured out what she must do.

This is now like a reverse mystery for me (haha) since I already spoiled where everything ends up but how it gets there still has a lot of intrigue.

Spoiler: Old spoilers reminders related to current reveals

It seems Queen knew about the Magic circle under the palace...or at least has an inkling about it.

She def knows nanny was a magician. Note the downfall of the Queen's family comes from the accusation that Prince Mikael is conceived through the use of black magic. Nanny was somewhat in the birth a baby husk and Yurigel to Mikael soul transfer. She was killed after the plan failed in front of Ash who is appointed next nanny.

Caesar in the extras confirms he sent the original Astrid out to work at the Queen's Palace to find this magic circle. He has a terrible relationship with the Queen and is the one who brings her family to ruin in original story "The Escape".

Astrid supposedly found the basement after tailing the Nanny a lot and her clumsiness with chores, particularly sewing that day resulted in her blood touching the circle she found. Her soul is removed instead of Mikael and Yoojin enters her body as Ash.

It feels like Queen is a lot more...complicated a character than both the intro and ending seems to show.

 

Actually the hair colors are all diff from the comic so Blonde is LIKELY Ciel not Seiya. Ciel is kind of the eccentric silly one. The Brunette is probably Seiya who is more friendly / proper and an official I think?? He wouldn't dress gaudy while a magician can.

Eventually Ciel leaves to meet Yoojin and Klein but Mio stays behind to keep helping King Mikael + At this point he's like 40+ yrs old. Unlike Ciel who stays forever young / has a long lifespan? Or is immortal??? I forgot which it was, Mio's a normal dude ;v;'''

On the other side in Korea where Yoojin and Klein are together, hardly any time has passed before Ciel arrives

The Mio ending is very bittersweet but he's def happy

 

I was kinda upset for the people who didn't like the MC and saying the queen should be The MC or they saying how the MC gets a harem then the Queen will die.
I think they are quite childish. Seriously.
It's not like it'our story or we are paying the author. If u are dissapointed at this then drop it. Simple.

Ash notes how good looking Mio is as he is asleep. He wakes and notices she wants to wake Ciel. After asking her, he claps his hands together scaring out PTSD mage awake. Angry, he tries to have a go at Mio but Ash stops him as she was the one who wanted him awake. (Uhg...Mio...he noticed she didn't want to get strangled again so he woke Ciel for her QwQ He's always really considerate down low -sobs-)

Ash bribes Ciel into helping her get to the basement by offering him the agreement to let him sleep next to the baby Mikhail from now on. Once he falls asleep, she would take the baby back to her side- and the agreement will be voided if he ever tries to harm him. For whatever reason because of his PTSD, he could only sleep where there is the sound of human breath, but he is particularly fond of the baby.

He agrees right away and gives her a teleportation item that would let her enter the basement twice. Apparently it's because her mana capacity is close to zero.

A bit more info about Magic users in this world:

Seems like Magic is split between the regular Magicians and Black Magicians. The latter is considered subpar but Ciel respects them a lot, as Magicians have their aptitude decided from birth while the Black Magicians have chosen to perform magic through feeding their negative energies. It does however cut away at their life force as they lack mana.

Ash wonders if the previous Nanny who was accused of being a Black Magic user / killed was really a black magic user. She also asks Ciel if that means she could be a BM user but he thinks not as she doesn't seem to have that much negative thoughts. Ash gets a bit melancholic, as it seems people can't seem to notice the real feelings of loneliness and homesickness she hides inside.

Ciel warns her once again that she has only two chances at going to the basement.

For those who got put off by the whole harem-ish ending, the relationships are so slow burn. Asides from maybe Mio who sort of looks after her now all tsun and from afar, everyone starts so spectacular platonically.
