I need to know if there is any way that I can change the no. of items in myrreading list that is shown onthe home page. Sometimes, I have to browse through multiple pages to see if there are any new chapters.
You cant just use the rss feed to check for new chapters. Otherwise, no there doesn't seem to be a way to scrunch the number of items on the home page. Even filtering things just hides those series from the home page, and everything is still on the same page number as everything else. Personally I'm not a big fan of the way it's handled, but it is what it is.
Try changing the global setting for displaying favourites in https://www.novelupdates.com/reading-list/ Edit: granted, I display nothing, so it might do nothing
The menu is this one It'll look like this. The title displayed are only the release on that page, so you might still need to check several page.
It shouldn't. All it does is it brings releases from favorite list to the top of each page. He still needs to go through the pages. I mean.. you do realize that the reading list is precisely the place where you should check for updates, right? And you could always use your list's RSS, like @UnGrave suggested. The links are in the icons by your list settings, if you didn't know.
Yea. That's why I said RL is the exact place to check updates. Though, personally, I always preferred alphabetical order + looking at the icons. But it depends on the length of the list, I guess...
I've put up as latest first as the order and it is the same. I can't put it in unread sort order as there are a few novels that I haven't started yet and I don't want them to be on top.
I did try that too and put the sorting order of currently reading list as unread. It shows a blank first page even when this is done.
That's surprising. How long is your list then? And are you viewing it on mobile? You're talking about your reading list itself, not the homepage, yes?
Could you possibly provide a screen recording or at least a screenshot? What's your browser and its version? You could also throw in your phone model and os version.
