So it looks like a lot of people are not quite understanding the first "savior's" position. So from the translated chapters here is a summary of what is going on: The god has been randomly transporting people to his world and granting them strong magical powers to keep his world safe. All the people he has met so far have been teanagers and have take on their role of "savior" happily. However the last person he sent just wanted to be pretty and ended up in a family that spoiled her. Because she never learned anything about magic her strong powers basicaly have the potential to run rampant with her emotions. It is later explained that she has enough unchecked power to literaly bring the country down if she got mad enough. She is in a persute of a fairy tale "happy ending" and has even subconciously cast charm magic on one of the countries princes who now only listens to her. So the king and queen have been tosed a ticking time bomb and whats worse is their previously compotent prince is now actuvely rebelling against them for what is posibly "true love". In short the only reason the king and queen did not pass this hot potato to another country was out of love for their son but then they got stuck because anything that upset the "savior" might then destroy their country. Eventualy almost seeing his lifelong friend nearly die trying to protect him lead the prince to snap out of the trance magic and realize that she had made him betray people he cherished and disapoint everyone who loved him. From what I can tell from the raws he tried to break it off with the first savior. This lead her to nearly kill the both of them, an entier town, his family, and his friends. So in a moment of panic he stabed her to try and reverse the magic but only made it worse as her feelings of betrayal made her power go even more rampant. At this point our MC saves the day.
You also forgot (or it might be an adaptation add-on?) the church's involvement in lifting the savior high up her pedestal
Why does the MC thinks that she's too old to get married? She still in her 30 and she looks younger than her age anyway, how old is the ML anyway? He seems like older than her though..
I think it's basically Asian mentality because I know the Chinese, Indians & Koreans have it too. The panic begins in the 20s & shelf life expires in the 30s
Let me rephrase two things from MTL-ing Ch. 12. 1. Yes, ML and FL (MC) are going out. They're currently engaged. 2. Yes, Ill did not report Tsukina's presence to Kingdom. I'm awaiting for the new chapter. Gosh.
Can you verify the spoilers that the series is implying a sequel of some sort mentioned at ch.12? Do we simply get a Fin? Or a potential TBC due to Tsukina's one comment on leaving it to the younger savior in the future?
It should be getting another volume in December from what people are saying. I can see it getting more development in the future like the saints power is omnipotent or summon kitchen skill went past their first ending. Both those stories were low on angst mostly fluffy with older MCs. Stories with an older female MC that's isikaied a soft end that goes into the "real" story if its popular enough seem to be the thing. Sadly no one has picked up the novel so how far the story goes is a mystery.
The God explained that since the savior doesn’t use/learn magic she has a lot of excess magic, and some of the pouring magic are converting to something that charms the prince, that is why he’s head over heels in love. While the surrounding people can see how she’s manipulating the prince. Though they don’t know that she’s using charm magic w/o her knowing. Maybe he stabbed her because the charm spell is wearing out because of her uncontrollable magic.
Well, scans are caught up to the current raws. A soft sorta rushed end for season one but it it did get renewed and will be continuing. Still no group picking up the novel as far as I know.
Anyone have any idea if the manga has updated. I mean, technically its winter already? Plus, Dex comments speculate new savior is a guy
