    From what I understood, he sucks away mana of witches. He doesn't know yet.
    The blond servant witch also called him a monster(inside her head), if you've noticed. That's why she's scared of him.

    There's still more than 40 chapters left.
    He's already know about it actually.
    And rather than cursed, I guess it's just the way he is. I mean he's naturally born as mana absorber.

    I don't know if he's a playboy, but he said that because his mother was also a maid and he knows what happens for both the woman and the possible child that may come from this relationship.
    In various scenes, his mother, brother and even Jade mention how he never had any interest for women's, so he's probably inexperienced? Also he wanted Kate to quit her job (as be anything apart from a maid), making it way easier to fancy her.

    Ah! I guess I misunderstand what you mean when you said that he doesn't know yet. I thought you mean he's still doesn't know until the latest spoiler:facepalm::blob_grin:

    Can you tell me which chapter?
    As far as I know Ian pretty much ignore every woman except Kate. And in manhwa chapter 130, it's hinted that he got interested in Kate because she looked like the woman who save him when he was a little kid.

    I don't really like mc's grandfather. He didn't care much for his daughter, doesn't even fully believe mc is his blood yet. He doesn't seem like a good person in general. Enoch, mc's adopted uncle, in the other hand, really cares about her. She should live with him instead, he also doesn't have a successor:bloblove:

    Esmeralda is hella creepy:blobtriumph:. I don't feel sorry for her at all. She was a horrible person and did hideous things. With this buildup, something's gonna happen with her for sure...she will do sth to Kate:sweating_profusely:
